Toastie Party!!

Tonight me and my friends had a Toastie party~ Is a toastie a British thing? Do you call it something else where you are from? Basically it's just a toasted sandwich and when you use the Toastie maker is pushes the side of the bread down to seal all the filling in! We bought loads of different ingredients to but in the toasties like, baked beans, cheese, tomatoes, tuna etc. Then we decided it wasn't enough so went out and bought more food for dessert toasties! They tasted even better than the savoury one! My personal favourite was the Marshmallow and Nutella one (see pic)! Pure bliss ♥♥♥ I love having food theme nights! Squat Lobster!

Waaah, I haven't been on Luuux for ages! I've missed it ^____^ But here is a food post ♥ I went to a local inn in a place called Applecross, famous for it's seafood. Seafood is probably my favourite thing in the world so I'm always up for trying new things. So I had the squat lobster. And it was beautiful, amazingly good!! The squat lobster was given a twist from the usual garnish by having it with sweet chili sauce compared to the white sauce usually served with fish etc. I would have it again and again but they only serve it when the fishing boats land them because it's a seasonal thing. Recipe: Amatriciana Pasta Sauce

I'm back with another recipe! This is one I cook a lot when I'm at university because it's really quick and easy to do and fairly cheap :D Ingredients: 1 tbsp Olive Oil 1 Medium Onion (Sliced thinly in strips) 1/2 tsp Chili Powder 100g Back Bacon (Chopped) 1 tbsp Tomato Puree 1 Can of Chopped Tomatoes 1 tbsp Dried Basil Salt and Pepper to Season Serves: 4 Price: >£4 Estimated Calories per Serving: 382 1. Prepare the onion and bacon before hand. Then heat oil in a saucepan and fry the onion for 4-5 minutes or until softened. 2. Add the chili powder and chopped bacon, then cook for 5 minutes making sure the chili is equally distributed. 3. Add the tomato puree, tinned tomatoes, basil and seasoning and mix well. Then add 140ml of water. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the liquid has been reduced.
