Mhmmm... So if you all saw my post earlier today, you would know that I went to Yao Fuzi Cuisine to eat dinner which is what I posted previously. Now, I'm going to share my dessert today as well as what my sister got. Hear this, I had TEMPERA cheesecake and it was one of the most delicious but strange things I have ever eaten.
If you didn't know, tempera is like fried so basically, I ate a
fried cheesecake but it still tasted like cheesecake and all, just with a crispy outer coating of fried material xD It was DELICIOUS and tasted like a perfect cheesecake. On the top of it, there was a tiny bit of dark chocoate mousse which was absolutely fantastic. the slice of cheesecake costed $8 which is pricey but worth the opportunity! My sister and brother both each had a $4 scoop of ice cream from the brand Henry's Ice Cream and the vanilla was amazing, I gotta say.
What's your favorite restaurant?

Hello again! I went to Yao Fuzi Cuisine today night to eat with my family because my mom's friend owns the restaurant and gave us an amazing deal: 50% off our entire meal so we were all like," Heck yes!" I honestly can't believe that we got that much of a discount but I'm really glad because I guess that's what you get when you're friends with a restaurant owner :3
At the restaurant, we didn't
hold back at all. On the table in the picture I included, you can see that its Chinese food. We had soft- shelled crabs, fried rice, and vegetables. I can't describe it much because I'm not much of a food critic but I can say that it was AHMAZING. The restaurant looked really pretty and elegant as well; just look at the last few pictures and see. I really loved dining tonight!
What did you guys have tonight?

So I went shopping a few days ago and I got these classic black pumps from Nine West. Sorry for not posting this earlier but I've been busy studying for exams coming up (only 1 week left!) and for the next week, I might be posting and commenting less because I need to study. I'll still try to do my best to not neglect Luuux though!
Anyway, I went shopping and I happened to stop by Nine West
when I went in. I decided that I needed a new pair of classic black heels before I had left home because my oldest one was kind of... wonky. The only reason I stopped by Nine West was because I had a $50 gift card. I looked around inside the store and came across a pair that I really liked which I've shown in the pictures above! It was actually $74.99 but since I had a $50 gift card, it only costed about $25 which is a steal for Nine West shoes! I was so happy to get these new heels for such a great price.
The heels that I got are black and 2 inches tall which makes me my ideal height of 5'7" :) They looks like any normal black heel except at the toes, there are little folds that I think are super cute! I thought that these heels were really classy and I really like them. They were also super comfy which was a HUGE plus!
Do you own any Nine West shoes?

Hey guys and gals! Yesterday, I went to a casual full orchestra concert with my sister (for her end of year senior high performance) and I decided to dress really unformally so naturally, I wore a casual hairdo as well because the hair is what makes the outfit!
So, as you can see in the title and pictures, I wore my hair as a braided headband. You can't see but I also curled the ends of my
hair with a curling iron so that it looked cuter :D I thought that the braided headband look looked really cute and I was so glad to find that I was finally able to wear it because before, my layers were too short. Sometime or another, I'm planning on making a Youtube tutorial over this look so stay tuned! My Youtube channel name is MissKarennZhou :)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Separate your hair by doing a half do and make sure that the hair in your half do is out of the way.
2. Take a small section outside of the half do and hold it vertically up, making sure that it is smooth and can be taken across to the other side.
3. Holding the hair vertically, begin braiding it.
4. Once you reach the end, secure your hair with a thin and discreet elastic and pull your hair across until the braid is where you'd want the headband to lie. If your braid has little hairs sticking out, use gel on it.
5. Take two bobby pins and put them at the end of your braid, securing it to your head in an "X" shape.
6. Release the hair in the half do and mess with it until you cover the bobby pins!
7. [OPTIONAL] Curl the ends of your hair for a casual spring look.
I hope you guys enjoy this and let me know if you tried it out!

Hello Luuuxers! Today, I have... more food, of course! So today, I'm going to share a new food that I've been eating lately: Mochi ice cream! Most of you probably have no idea what this "Mochi" thing is but I'm here to explain that today.
Mochi Ice Cream actually originated from Japan and I would describe it as ice cream with a layer of chewy, gummy, and tasteless stuff on the outside. The
mochi ice creams come in little compact balls that are SO cute! They come in a total of 7 flavors: Chocoate, Strawberry, Vanilla, Green Tea, Red Bean, and Mango. I've tried chocoate, strawberry, and vanilla and my favorite is chocolate! Mochis are absolutely delicious and I always am going back to the kitchen to get more, lol.
The website (http://mochiicecream.com/) describes it as "Sweet, fruity ice cream wrapped in soft fluffy dough and dusted with a white powdery coating. Now look in the mirror and laugh, yes, you have powder all over your lips. You're a mess! With this dessert's unique texture and blanket of white powder, you can't help but smile and remember what it feels like to be a kid. " and I kind of agree actually

Hello pretty gals! Today, I'm going to do a review post which I haven't done in forever (since April 22) and I'm glad that I have tried a new product and am able to do a review over it again. The product that I'll be sharing with y'all today is the Origins Make a Difference Skin Rejuvenating Treatment Lotion. Its a bit strange how they call it a lotion seeing as it is liquid but its
cool!
RATING: 4.5/5
Pros: - prevents oilyness throughout the day
- calms by skin
- helps redness go down
- closes my pores and helps them stay closed through the day
- Easy to apply
Cons:- more like a toner than a lotion
Conclusion: Overall, I really like this product although it feels and works more like a toner than a lotion like it says it is. The liquid consistency really caught me and I really like how it keeps my skin non-oily (I have oily prone skin). It has helped my skin alot and I'm already on my second bottle which shows you all how much I liked it :)
Have you tried this before?

Hey Luuuxers! So I mentioned in my previous post that I've been more into food lately... but who said that I was into junky foods? I've been enjoying all sorts of vegetables (which I'v always liked anyways). I've been experimenting with different ways of cooking veggies and I just wanted to share what I had today!
So for this dish, I had some broccoli, cauliflower, and some meat inside. This
dish took about 10 minutes to prepare and it tasted so delicious! I'll be eating it with my rice tonight with maybe some potatoes and such. I guess that I'm lucky that I love vegetables naturally so I can stay healthy without effort but I honestly don't understand why people wouldn't like their veggies sometimes! >.<
Thanks for reading this post and I hope you all eat well tonight too!

Hello fellow Luuuxers. I hope that you all have been doing really well. I've been doing less fashion and beauty shopping recently which has bummed me but I have also been eating more, LOL. Of course to make up for it, I exercise as well. Today, I'm going to show y'all the "Little Pops" by the See's Candy brand! They're really cute because they were designed after the original See's lollipops
which last like 45 minutes each (yes, they're that big!). These Little Pops are mini versions of the lollipops and they last about 5 minutes, haha. The box comes with 32 candies inside which is quite alot and I've already, along with my brother and sister, gone through a good 20!
Flavors:
-Vanilla (sweetest but not sickly sweet, white, and creamy)
- Chocolate (slightly bittersweet, dark brown)
- Cafe latte (tastes like coffee, light brown)
- Butterscotch (tastes like toffees, light light brown)
Nutrition Facts:
- Serving Size: 4 pieces
- Calories per serving: 60 calories
- Calories per piece: 15 calories
Yay! I really like these candies alot and if I were to rate them, I'd give them a 4/5 stars!
Thanks so much for reading :) Have you ever tried See's Candy candies before?

Hello Luuuxers! So a few days ago, my sister had to do a project for her end of semester junior year and she chose to make a dreamcatcher which is something I have always been fascinated by because they look so beautiful and when I was little, mine really did seem to work for me :) The dreamcatcher you see in the picture is my picture but my sister made it!
I think it looks super cool and I
love the gold and silver used in the middle of the dreamcatcher because I think it looks really elegant, using the "pure" colors and all. It took her between 2-3 hours which is quite a bit of time but then again for something so gorgeous, its not alot at all!
Anyways, I just wanted to share with y'all this really pretty dreamcatcher that my sister made. I hope you all enjoyed this and I'll see you again soon!

Hey Luuuxers! Over the past few days, I've been doing some intense studying because exams are coming up soon but sometimes, studying alone can get a bit tiresome so I ended up going to Starbucks (for my first time) with a couple of friends. In there, I honestly had no idea what to order since it was my first time so I just went with whatever sounded familiar which happened to be the Mocha Frappe
which I know from McDonald's :D
The mocha frappe was super yummy, alot better than the McDonald's one. I guess you really do get what you pay for, don't you? It had the perfect blend of coffee taste and sweetness and I'm not a big person for coffee-ish tastes so this coming from me is alot. Overall, I totally enjoyed my first Starbucks experience! I will definitely be looking to got there during the next possible chance. Their stuff is so delish!
