For lunch, I wanted to make some noodles. So I took a pack of instant ramen noodles and rummaged through the refrigerator for things to add to my noodles. I found some bok choy and pork & shrimp wontons. I cooked everything separately. I made the broth by using half of the seasoning package, I didn't want to be too salty. I really enjoyed my meal especially the wontons, which had a lot of
flavors.

One of my new years resolutions is to continue to eat healthy. So this morning I made a spinach omelet. A spinach omelet usually has cheese in it but i didn't add any because i didn't have any.
How I made my omelet:
-Into a large bowl, I cracked 2 large eggs and torn up about a cup of spinach.
-Added salt and pepper and mixed everything.
-Added a little oil into a pan and poured the mixture
into the pan.
-Cooked until done.
And I always have to have my ketchup with my eggs.

This Christmas I got my boyfriend a pair of sneakers. He was hinting at the Nike Free Haven 3.0 in blue. These sneakers also came in black/white and a grey with neon yellow and blue. I got these Nike's from Macy's when they were having their friends and family event. So with the discount the sneakers cost about $75. He was so happy when he got these sneakers that he wore them on
Christmas.
What do you think of these sneakers?

At the potluck, all the girls were seating to one side of room while the guys were on the other side with the tv. Some how the nail polishes came and we were doing our nails. My friend had a very nice dark purple polish from Deborah Lippmann called Call Me Irresponsible. It took 3 coats to get this magenta color but it doesn't look like the color in the bottle. I was a little disappointed of the
color but I still like the color.
Have you tried this color? What do you think of it?

When I got to my friend's potluck, I saw her DIY Christmas tree. She lives in a one bedroom apartment, so having a tree would take up too much space. I thought it was a pretty good idea. She said it look a lot of math to make it. She used tape for the outline of the tree and push pins to hold up the lights and the star. This is a great solution for savings a tree, saving space, and saving
money.
Have you seen any DIY Christmas trees?

This weekend my boyfriend and I went to our friends holiday party. Everyone brought a dish or drinks. There was lasagna, fried rice, sushi, fruit salad, ham & broccoli quiches, brownies, chips. For drinks, there was soda, beer, sangria, and juice. I liked the lasagna the most and i asked my friend about the recipe and he said it was a family secret. I still wonder if he actually made it or just
bought it from the store. The rest of the day we watched football games and talked.
Did you go to a Holiday party this season?

This morning I was lucky enough to wake up to some Krispy Kreme donuts. Apparently my cousin stopped by and dropped them off. He only bought three donuts: two chocolate, and a maple. I didn't feel like have a maple donut so I had to go with the chocolate donut. I love Krispy Kreme donuts because they are always so soft and yummy. I've never had a bad Krispy Kreme donut before. I feel that Krispy
Kreme donut are a lot smaller than other donut shops.

For a snack, I decided to pan fry the pork and vegetable potstickers my family bought from costco on the weekend. This was my first time pan frying them. I usually just boil them in water. To pan fry potstickers, you evenly coat the bottom of the pan with oil. Than you place the potstickers flat side down onto the pan. Pour about a cup to a cup & half of water depending on how big your pan is.
Cover for about 8-10 minutes and your done. These are pretty good for a snack but not too filling for a meal.
What did you snack on today? Do you like potstickers?

So my sister got a new job and she is moving away. Since she is moving away, we decided to try out a few neighborhood restaurants before she leaves. For today's lunch, we went to Taqueria Guadalajara. This restaurant had really great reviews on yelp so we decided to go there. We both got soft tacos. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and she ordered 2 marinated pork. In the tacos were onions, cilantro,
and hot sauce. The tacos were really good. The meat had a lot of flavor and the hot sauce wasn't too hot. With our meal was also a bowl of chip, which were very crunchy. Each taco cost $2.25. So the total of the meal was $9.
What did you have for lunch? Do you like tacos?

I woke up feeling like eating something sweet and fancy. Do you sometimes want to feel fancy? Heheh. So I decided to make some french toast. French toast just sounds fancy! It is pretty easy to make french toast. All you need to do it mix a few eggs, dip the bread in the egg mixture, and then pan cook it until both sides are slightly brown. My topping of choice was maple syrup but you can put
other things like fruits, powder sugar, regular sugar, or nothing at all.
