Over the weekend I went to Target looking for hair products and came across these neat little hair ties. They function as a hair tie but look like bracelets on your wrist.
I thought it was genius because I always have 1-2 hair ties on my wrist but they look so ugly with my bracelets. I thought these would look a lot better lol.
They come in gold and silver and I got a pack of each. Each
pack comes with 3 hair ties for $4.00.
The hair ties are actually really tight and work very well. Your hair doesn't get caught in the metal which is a HUGE PLUS! And the gold and silver is great for matching your jewelry.
Have you seen these before? or tried them?

I've been hearing a lot about Maybelline's Baby Lips Repairing Lip Balm with SPF 20 and wanted to give it a try. Everytime I went to CVS, they were sold out. Until about 2 weeks ago, I finally saw one last one left on the shelf and grabbed it. I got it in Peach Kiss. It's a relatively nude color with a little bit of shine. I got it for about $4 if I remember correctly.
I've been using it for
about two weeks now and wanted to review it for those of you who are interested.
PROS:
❤Smells great
❤Moisturizes lips
❤SPF 20
❤ Glide on effortlessly
❤ Tasteless (I've used chapsticks/lip products int eh past where it has a weird taste)
❤Paraben-free
❤Contain shea butter
❤ Light sheen
CONS:
- claims 8 hours of hydration...well I find myself having to reapply this after a couple of hours
- doesn't completely unchap my lips
Finaly Verdict: 4/5 stars.
Although this doesn't completely unchap my lips, I do think it's great. I love that it has SPF 20 and keeps my lips protected, so I don't mind having to reapply this every couple of hours. I would repurchase this and think it's a fun little lip product to have. But I wouldn't reach for this if my lips were super chapped.
Have you used this before? What are your thoughts on it?

Over the weekend my family and I celebrated my mom's birthday. She's not a huge cake fan, but she does like cheesecake, so I decided to get her just that!
I ordered a small fruit cheesecake from a bakery near my house and it was absolutely delicious!
It was topped with a lot of fresh fruits and a glaze over it. It also had fresh made whipped cream around it. I thought the combination of the
rich cheese cake and the light and fresh fruits was amazing.
Are you a fan of cheesecake? What's your favorite type of cake?

I went to CVS this past weekend to see if there were still any items on sale left. I got a few things a couple of weeks ago, but I was lucky enough that there was still plenty items in stock on sale.
Here is what I got on:
- Physicians Formula: Eye Booster
- NYC: NYC: Blushable stick in Mauve Uptown
- Revlon: Soft Nude lipstick
- Sally Hansen Insta Dri: Blue streak (this is my all time
favorite nail polish!!)
- Almay: Smart shade anti-aging Concealer
- Maybelline: Baby lips (this was not on sale, I’ve just been hearing great things about it and wanted to try it out for myself)
- L’OREAL: cream eyeliner –
These would have cost me about $42, but after all the sales and my extra bucks, I paid a TOTAL of $7 and some change.
I absolutely love these sales that CVS has twice a year. It's a great opportunity for my to try out makeup products that I would have otherwise never tried.
Did you get anything at the CVS sale? If so, what did you purchase and what do you think of them?

About a month ago, I was shopping at Nordstrom and came across a Burberry trench coat (Burberry Brit Single breasted trench) that I fell in love with. It retails for $1195, but the sales woman told me that it was on sale for $679...yes still pricey, but 40% is pretty darn good for Burberry! If you have any Burberry trenches, you'll know their quality is superb!
I was with my friend and we both
ended up purchasing it.
I absolutely loved this jacket. The best thing about this jacket versus other Burberry trenches are that this one comes with a full 100% wool lining that can be removed. So this jacket is super versatile; I have been wearing this in 40 degree weather (Fahrenheit) and I can remove the liner and wear it in the fall and spring!
Things I love about this jacket:
❤ Single breasted (it makes it look more casual than double breasted..plus I already have a double breasted trench)
❤ removable hood
❤ water resistant
❤ has a 100% wool liner, making it super warm and versatile
❤ PERFECT fit (from the length to the sleeves!)
❤ Great quality
I wore this for a couple of, then loved it so much, I wanted to buy one for my mom before they ran out....trust me they run out fast!! I called up my sales associate and finally she was able to find another one for me from another Nordstrom across the country. It was sent to my house a couple of weeks before Christmas.
I ended up giving it to my mother and she absolutely loves it too!
Do you guys own a Burberry trench? What did you get your loved ones for Christmas?

Before Christmas, I went to Target to get some Christmas card and stocking stuffers. I got a bunch of nail polishes for cousins, and here are the ones I got. I purchased duplicates/triplicates of a couple; one for each cousin.
I got a few of the Sally Hansen Insta Dri polishes- these are by far, my FAVORITE polishes because of the wide brush and how quickly it dried.
I also got some of the
Revlon Top Sleed ones. I've never tried these ones before, but I'm hoping they work as well as the Insta Dri.
I saw some Milani polishes in neon colors and thought these would be fun for the summer on super tanned skin lol (even though summer is 6 months away haha never too soon to start thinking about it)
Have you tried any of these polishes? Are you a fan of them?
What's your favorite polish?

Hey guys. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. You probably know that right after Christmas, most stores have incredible sales and prices are marked down even further than before the holidays.
Anyways, yesterday I made a quick stop to Sallys Beauty Supply to get a teasing comb. However I came out with much more than that.
I purchased a a digital Straight Shot flat iron. This was
originally $69, but it was marked down to $15, then an additional 50% so ....drum roll please....I got it for $7.50!!! Amazing, no?
Then I purchased a Gold Hot 1 inch curler which was originally $39 and marked down to $19.99, then 50% so I got it for $10.
The third item I got were a set of 3 China Glaze holiday polishes. These are usually around $12 I think, but I got all three for $4.00 after the sale.
The teasing brush was its original price $3.99
Total, I spend less than $25. Pretty sweet right??
You should definitely check out your local Sallys!!!

Hey ladies. I wanted to share with you how I organize and store some of my bangles. I picked up 3 of these velvet jewelry holders from the Container Store several months ago in different sizes. These were originally $20, but I purchased them for $9.99 on sale.
I think this black velvet holder looks really chic and sophisticated yet is really practical because of the quantity of jewelry I am
able to hand on it. The tiers on the organizer allow me to hand bracelets as well as longer necklaces on it.
I clearly have WAY too much jewelry...this rack only contains HALF of my bangles lol.
I absolutely love the design of this organizer. It totally reminds me of the organizers I would find at a jewelry store!
To sum it up, here's why I LOVE this and think it's a worthy investment:
❤ practical - it's able to hang a LOT of bracelets/necklaces...I have 43 items on it now
❤ can hand bracelets, longer necklaces, and watches
❤ nice material
❤ looks really nice
❤ Acts as room decor in addition to being functional
❤ on sale for $9.99!!

Last night I went to dinner with a few friends and tried a French and Cambodian restaurant in the city. It’s a fusion between the two types of cuisine. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! As an appetizer, I had sautéed muscles and my entrée was Crevettes Amrita, which was shrimp sautéed in a lightly sweet and spicy Cambodian satay sauce with coriander, cumin, cardamom, galangal, cinnamon, ginger,
peanuts, star anise and lemongrass with button mushroom, onion, red pepper and scallion. It was absolutely amazing.
Everyone ordered different items on the menu so I got to try a little bit of everything and everything was AMAZING. It was like the taste of heaven in my mouth haha.
Have you ever had French or Cambodian food before? What did you think of it?

Hey guys,
Fall is definitely my favorite time of the year. It’s when I get to mix and match different textures, play with prints, and most of all layer! One of my favorite items for the fall and a must have are a nice pair of riding boots.
These are the Etienne Aigner Chastity boots I purchased from Macys for $180. They are of great quality leather and the color is beautiful. It’s
neutral enough to be worn with anything – from jeans to leggings to skirts! Yet is makes a statement. I love the simplicity of the boots, but the emblem adds a little touch of detail.
I like to wear these with leggings/ skinny jeans and an oversized sweater on top.
Here is a link to the boots if you’re interested!
Do you have riding boots? What do you like to pair with it?
