so i have been pretty obsessed with layering lately but i have also been in love with the whole sleeve trend...meaning for example these military inspired khaki green jackets with black leather sleeves attached to them..and i just find it more convenient to have a few different sleeveless vests to put over different jackets because then you can mix and match
them many different ways..
this combination right here is one of my very favorites..a studded denim vest by river island (purchased from asos) and a black leather jacket underneath...super edgy but still casual :) i am just over the moon with this denim vest so it really was worth the heavy price tag of about 110€ in my opinion but of course one could get another denim vest and stud it yourself..
what do you think about it?

i love pavlova and i eat it all the time to be honest..i just change the topping from time to time...
Pavlova is an australian meringue dessert with a crisp crust and soft, light inside. The major difference between the pavlova and a large meringue is the addition of cornflour, which results in the pavlova having a crisp and crunchy outer shell, and a soft,
moist marshmallow-like centre, unlike meringue which is usually solid throughout. The consistency also makes the pavlova significantly more fragile than meringue. Because the Pavlova is notorious for deflating if exposed to cold air, when cooking is complete it is left in the oven to fully cool down before the oven door is opened.
Pavlova is traditionally decorated with a topping of whipped cream and fresh soft fruit such as kiwifruit, passionfruit, and strawberries. now in the wintertime i tend t go for apples and caramel with cinnamon.. or pomegranate seeds..
have you ever tried this? i might actually post a recipe shortly if anyone is ineterested..

i was just borwsing the h&m sale section one day and i stumbled across these heels from the anna dello russo for h&m collection...they were originally priced at the ridiculous amount of 150€..i would have never gotten them for that price! but they were reduced to about 50€ and they are actually real leather and in a metallic gold shade..since i have not
often seen real leather gold shoes i decided to just order them and check them out in person so i could decide whether to keep them or not..so when i got them i was a bit indecisive but i did end up keeping them..
even though i wish that the platform would not be all that huge and therefore a bit hoochie but i think you can definitely make them work when you keep the rest of the outfit more sophisticated...
what do you think about them? would you get them for 50€?

this is the ginger break heart that my best friend got from her boyfriend for their anniversary..i think it is a super cute idea :) ginger bread hearts last almost forever (i know people that still have some from like 15 years ago) and at least in germany they are very easy to find...there actually is a company that customizes them very close to where i live and
i bet that tis where it got this one..they aren't even expensive either...so overall i think they are just a great gift and i am currently thinking about ordering one for my friend who is getting married in march...and if you wanted to you could still eat it of course.. but i bet you would have a pretty upset stomach after eating the whole thing :D
what would you think about it if you had gotten this giant ginger bread heart as an anniversary gift from your boyfriend? I WOULD JUST LOVE IT AND REALLY APPRECIATE IT! :)))

i love anything and everything animal printed anyway so of course i obsessed over these babies as soon as i saw them sitting o the shelves at my local zara store... :)
they are real suede and have a nice sturdy chunky bold heel which makes walking in them super comfortable even in this snowy and slippery season...
they spice and edge up every normal plain
outfit with just the right amount of wild attitude while the color palette of them is still quite neutral and therefore goes with everything..i love them so much and i can already tell that i will be wearing them for a long time.. :)
if you are still looking for a nice pair of ankle booties you should definitely check these out..you would not regret investing in these.. ;)
what do you think about them? what do your favorite ankle booties look like?

from my point of view there isn't much to say about this outfit of miley cyrus that she wore to the "Borgore's Christmas Crampies" concert in Hollywood..
i think she was trying to go ultra feminine and sexy with the outfit because her super short hair makes her look a bit to masculine sometimes...i mean she did lose some weight and
might be proud of showing off her great figure but i don't think she needs to force herself in this super tight and small cropped top that is just a bit to revealing in general..
and then: the weird necklaces that somehow also goes around her waist almost like a belt and then the animal printed overknee boots... i can't even decide what about the outfit i find the most disgusting :D
for me this is a total fail..
what do you think?

first her career as a party book author turned out to be a total flop and now her sense for great style seems to have taken a break also :D ;)
She wore this outfit to the "Best of W&W Jewellery"-Party in London and i gotta say i hate it: i love highwaisted bottoms but this skirt is just a bit too highwaisted for my liking...i mean it
hits right below her boobs...also unflattering is the mix of the colours: the metallic bronze skirt paired with black tights and taupe shoes...she should have either finished it off with black shoes or gone with nude tights and shoes
instead..
what do you think about this outfit of her's?

kim kardashian:
+ for some reason i just tend to prefer the color red on people that are a bit more tan and dark haired..basically on people that look a bit more latino/a
- matching the red dress with the red shoes is a bit too matchy matchy for me
- i don't think that a peplum dress is really all that flattering on a bodytype like
kim's
charlize theron:
- could have used a bit more tan for this dress
+ the shape of this dress looks gorgeous on her
+the shoes add a bit more interest and elongate her legs additionally
overall i think charlize rocked this dress better than kim did..what do you think?

so in this photo you can see christina aguilera and angelina jolie wearing the same black lace dress by michael kors..
christina aguilera:
+ for the classic red lipstick that really goes well with the overall classic look of the dress
+ for the better tan..her skin color just looks better against the otherwise harsh black of the
dress
- for the too blingy/trashy clutch and shoes that take away from the timeless classic feel of the dress
- she might have a bit too much on her hips at the moment to be able to pull the dress off perfectly
angelina jolie:
+/- really let the dress do the talking and kept it neutral and toned down with the accessories maybe even a bit too toned down almost boring
- her skin - especially the legs - look a way too white and ghostlike for this dress
so overall i prefer the dress on christina..what do you think?

so this is the outfit that the french actrice marion cotillard wore to the hollywood premiere of her new movie called "rust and bone". the dress and the cute strappy heels are by dior and i have to say that i love the dress very much..it is almost like a super modern interpretation of the classic LBD (little black dress) by simply
adding another white fabric layer on top..it is so chic and elegant while almost being a bit futuristic at the same time..this look could have only been more french if she had worn a red lip with it..
but i gotta say: i love, love, love this look! what do you think?
