"Good taste". It is this thought after seeing "Lost in the World", the video for Kanye West's partnership with Bon Iver.
The Justin Vernom's band not appear in the video, which was directed by Ruth Hogben (who worked with Lady Gaga on "Marry The Night") and brings overlapping images in black and white and tricks with mirrors, riding a visual effects sequences in natural.
Plans are well
constructed, and aesthetics in the assembly refers to some kind of neo-expressionism that makes plongeés rapper and dancer and taken a city, all well executed and creating a great visual translation for the song.
Today, Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi set a new standard for manager insanity in world football.
With Fiorentina down 2-0 to Novara (the 19th-place team in Serie A), after just 30 minutes, Rossi took the drastic action of substituting 20-year-old Adem Ljajic in the 32nd minute. Understandably upset, Ljajic sarcastically clapped his manager's decision before giving him a thumbs up.
For
Rossi, that was more than enough to set him off. Rossi lunged at Ljajic, grabbing him by his neck and throwing punches at him before other members of Fiorentina's staff intervened to separate the two.
Fiorentina have had a miserable season, one that may very likely see Rossi sacked, but lunging at a player like that is inexcusable.
Later, Sky Sports in Italy reports that Delio Rossi has been fired for attacking his player. Club president Andrea Della Valle had the following to say to ESPN: "I made the decision to sack the coach for an act that was very serious. Tomorrow morning we'll talk calmly. I'm sorry for the coach who is a good person and does not deserve it, but tonight he committed a serious act."
A statement has been released on Fiorentina's official website too, in which president Della Valle has noted that Fiorentina winger Adem Ljajic will also be punished: "We will also take proportionate measures against Ljajic. Rossi has not justified it to me but he is someone who has never done anything like this."
What do you think? Too harsh or fair? Personally, I believe Della Valle just took the opportunity to fire Rossi now under the guise of misconduct rather than have to fire him for poor results at the end of the season.
John Mayer takes the solitude of a trip to sing and to overcome these "dark days" narrated in "Shadow Days".
With beautiful images by the American desert and the typical sites found in the west, the video focuses more on telling what would be the composition of that moment of coming release of an ancient pain while breathing fresh air.
Plans with the setting of the sun are getting
manjados, mainly pop rock videos as well, but still beautiful. The differential for this is the like with the almost documentary sequences that record the scenarios where the clip runs, always tasteful paintings.
You can have the best job in the world, be a millionaire, a rock star. Who knows, a person like any other. Nobody is free from prison, the chains and a circuit of situations that you control one way or another.
In "Houdini" teaser released a few days ago, I could not tell what would happen after seeing the scaffold with the spotlight falling on the Foster the People. It would be an analogy
to the pressure of success and fame? Well, maybe yes.
Soon after the accident, concerned solely and exclusively in continuing the project, the producers arrange a Machiavellian knack finish recording, in the style "A Very Crazy Dead" - 1989 movie stamped on the Afternoon Session.
The fact is that the song itself expresses a desire to total release, almost all common mortals. Now, the fourth clip from the band's debut album is a humorous contrast between the pseudo maximum in the music (bands puppets) and the desire to make their own decisions, to lead their own way.
It turns out that the video goes deep philosophical question in a very specific and tries to expose a bond of kinship with the history of any other person. And can. After all, are we even disposable, replaceable?
"Houdini", directed by the duo The Daniels, is brave and original speaking implicitly of a hierarchy and a rotten industry fakes canned.
Some say they came to dating, but the rumors were never officially confirmed. Now, Drake and Rihanna are the protagonists of a new video that shows embraced as if they were a couple.
"Take Care" is a presentation of the single of Drake's second album and has Rihanna as a special guest. The theme is adapted from Jamie xx (of The xx) remix made version of "I'll Take Care of You", signed by the
late Gil Scott-Heron.
In an unusual action, the music video for "Take Care" was launched simultaneously with another new video of Drake, "HYFR" featuring the rapper Lil Wayne.
While John Mayer‘s issues with granuloma in his throat have sidelined his planned tour in support of upcoming album Born and Raised (out May 22), the Grammy winner is still keeping his fingers active, at least.
Recently he offered up a cover of Lana Del Rey‘s “Video Games” to fans. As you might expect, however, there are no vocals on the track — just some haunting guitar
licks.”Video Games (dub solo electric) w/Binson Echorec,” Mayer wrote when posting his rendition of Lana’s tune his Tumblr blog. Give it a listen below.
What do you make of John’s take on Lana’s hit?
Mohammad El Akkari made history in Asia by scoring 113 points (yes, 113 points!) in a game of top flight basketball in Lebanon. The Moutahed, El Akkari team, won Bejjeh by a stunning 173-141.
The strange thing in this achievement is that Akkari, 27 years old, wasn't the great weapon of his team before the match with an average of 7.6 points per game. But in the game with Bejjeh the
player played in a fantastic way, converting 32 of 59 three-point attempts that taked, maded 40 fields goals of the 69 that attempted.
Interestingly, Mohammad El Akkari is not an accidental hero. The player Lebanese studied in the United States of America and developed there, before returning home.
Do not leave you with images of the game in question, leaving a brief summary of what El Akkari made in its passage by the United States.
Don’t you guys just love it when you stumble upon a song and not even half way through, just completely and utterly fall in love and wonder how on earth you haven’t heard it and praise the universe for creating such melodic brilliance? Okay I might be over exaggerating just a tiny bit but Hanni El Khatib sure makes me feel like I’m a screaming teenager again hence my over-the-top statement
of sheer admiration I just wrote to start this post. Moving on…
What made me to come at hear it was the fact that their song "You Rascal You" have appeared at the end of an episode of Californication. While surfing the net I came across an interview of Hanni and as soon as I read that he believed listening to more Black Sabbath would solve the world’s problems I thought, now that’s someone I would like to get to know better. I immediately fell for his rawness on stage and how his music took me back to earlier Black Keys years. Nevertheless, Hanni’s sound is unique and opens you up to an array of genres. His rusty yet smooth voice, doo-wop vibes mixed with pure rock’n’roll fused with bluesy garage rock and a little folk on the side, him on guitar and his best friend (Nicky Fleming-Yaryan) on the drums… all I could think of is that I absolutely have to see them perform. His idea of music is a simple one, raw simple music, which is straight forward enabling you to get your point right across, and he tries to create a feeling, an atmosphere rather than just a sound though sound is innate. Hanni describes his music as knife-fighting music and his audience as those who have been shot or hit by a train – music that is emotionally aggressive, tragic and raw. If that is what you’re into trust me, you’re definitely in for a treat.
Hanni grew up with a mixture of cultures: he’s half Palestinian half Filipino and was born and raised in San Francisco. As many mixed kids, growing up was a little off for him as he struggled to figure out his identity but it’s clear that nowadays he’s comfortable with the fact that he is indeed an American born kid. He currently lives in L.A. and at this stage of life embraces the city with open arms, despite having to drive everywhere.
Before dedicating time for his music, he was creative director for a skateboard company that was founded by professional skater Keith Hufnagel called HUF. He never intended to do anything with his music but after touring with his friend’s band called Her Space Holiday, he felt like recording something of his own and decided to put out an acoustic, folk-based EP entitled Bullfighter’s Heart. Now signed to newly created label Innovative Leisure, he released his debut album "Will The Guns Come Out" last September, 2011. Singles include "Dead Wrong" (2010), "Build. Destroy. Rebuild." (2010) and "You Rascal You" (2011) with which I leave to know your opinion about him.
He’s starting soon an American tour, starting off with a gig in L.A. in June. Last he was in touring Europe. Last stop in his European tour was of Porto in Portugal . For those who have the chance to see him, check him out and please let me know how it was as I’m still gutted I missed his Porto's gig. However, Hanni has plans to record a new album once he returns to American soil and until then, I’m going to stay optimistic and hope to catch him sooner or later.
The production of Katy Perry is with an interesting strategy for the clips from the album "Teenage Dream", fancy gift of her budget should label have separate for the release of the singer. It is that each is very different from each other and all can be marked by its setting.
Had the clip in the car with candy, with a fireworks device in the chest, with many special effects that funny and
that other in which it appears old. "Part of Me" will be known as "that she went to war."
The story shows a woman, played by Katy, who decides to enlist in the army after the end of a relationship, with the right training scenes that apparently were not made by doubles.
The struggle for the country ends up becoming a symbol of defense of one's personal honor (even by the United States are very demoralized lately) and does it well (especially for sales) to see the singer ready to fight under the blue flag.
