Review: Julep Maven Boxes

So this is my review on the julep maven box. This is also my video by the way and if you want to subscribe to my youtube, my account will be in the source link. Basiclly whta you do is go to their website and take a style quiz (I'm the American Beauty) to see what your style is. There are many styles such as Classic with a Twist, Boho Glam, It Girl, American Beauty, and some others that i probably forgot to mention. I explain most of it in my video, so just watch it and you'll understand.

Monthly Service Subscriptions Battle (birchbox,voxbox,julep maven,etc...)

So I'm just going to be comparing a bunch of monthly supscriptions. SO first there's the all famous birchbox. This monthly supscription service comes to you at your doorstep for $10 each month. In it should have 4-5 deluxe samples i believe? From what i know they have a bunch of new different brand names, so this is a great oppertunity to try out new brands. Next up is Voxvox. This i can't really compare with the others becuase it's FREE! You go on influenster.com, create an account, earn badges and hope that you are quilified for a box. You can really complain about what you get becasue for cying aloud you just pay $0.So next is Julep Maven. This is a box completly just for nail polishes. It costs $20 a month and comes with two nail polishes and something extra, unless you pick the it girl box. In that box is just 4 nail polishes. You still pay the same price though. I'm expecting my first box soon. Right now they are have ing a special were the boxes are only $.01. Just go on their website and use the code color2012. SO last but not least is a new one called myglambag. This was created by beauty gurus on youtube. I think i like this service way more then birchbox for multiple reasons. First, its the same price and since the name is myglambag, all the products you get for the month comes in a special bag. Its a makeup type bag and the design is different every time so you can actually use these, i mean for birchbox, what are u gonna do with the box? And this service has more samilar brands such ad urban decay, NYX, The Balm, etc... I like that becuase i get most of my makeupo from the drugstore and it helps me try out things i heard a lot about but could never afford to buy. If you are a makeup collector then i suggest birchbox because it has unquie brands that you can try, becauses chances are your already gonna have most of the stuff thats in the myglambag. So you decide, whats better for u?

How to Convince your Parents to let You Wear Makeup

Ok im still not quite allowed to wear makeup yet but im close. So my story is different from most people's. Most kids don't get to wear makeup because their parentss don't think there old enough. I'm not allowed to because my mom thinks it will create pre-wrinkling, but i don't wanna wear foundation and like coverup. All i want to wear is: blush,bronzer,highlighter,eyeshadow,eyeliner, and mascara. My mom always thinks im trying to coverup but im not. I'm just enaching my natural features. So if you wanna start here are some tips. * Don't say everyone else is wearing it. i tried that and it doesnt help. * Explain why you want to wear it * work slowly into more things. Such as don't tell her a bunch of things. Start slow and when she gets used to it, then start building * Be painet. She'll come around.... eventually

Review: EOS lip balms

SO this lip balm is raved aboout on yourtube so im going to review it here. so since this lip balm is a sphere it is different but i like it.It's not the best but definalty up there. it's more of the really thin lip balms so i feel like it's going to fall off really easily. I think the lip balm is better when you first buy it and its more smooth, after that its just ok. The lemon one looks more glosssy then others.

Debate Battle: Lotion vs Body Butter

So in this debate, everytime i skip a line it's "supposibly someone else" talking BB= body butter L= lotion BB: i think body butters are better becasue they are more moisturizing L: yeah but then the person would feel heavy. I am the best moisturzing and lightweight BB: yeah but you will just slip right off L: so i'm more affordable BB: but i'm better for the winter. Since im so "heavy" L: so who cares about winter, summer is amazing! So that concludes our Debate Battle. Hope you Enjoyed :D

How to Make Your Eyelashes Grow Longer

So this trick i learned from this website saying " 50 uses for Vaseline" and one off the uses was for your lashes to grow longer. I got all excited because i have very weak, not long, not many, and not curl-able asain lashes. SO i tried thid out for a week and i don't think it made a huge difference but when i took my makeup off none of my lashes came out (they usually do). So i guess it made my lashes stronger. Comment down below if you are going to try this, or if you u already have and how it turned out :) Did i mention i put this on before bed?

Review: Lauren Conrad Style Book

Ok so this book teaches you everthing from hair to makeup to organizing. This is amazing, however it's $20. For me, that's kinda pricy. Now that i look back i don't think i should have got it. I mean it doesn't even have that many pages. Cons: pricy Pros: informative Final thoughts: It's a good book i mean it really is. The only thing is it's price. If it was cheaper, then this would be like the best thing ever, so i suggest you just go to your local library and check this book out. It's not worth buying Rate: 7/10
