Why I Wanted to Try this Product/ My Hair Type
Really curious if this would make my hair longer faster, silkier and shinier. I usually use Pantene shampoo and V05 conditioner but I’ve tried several other brands (Tresemme, Head + Shoulders, Garnier, L'Oriel, etc). Although this combination has worked for me I felt like my hair still looked dull and I would need to wash my hair out a lot because
it would get super oily by day 2. I have thin/ fine Asian hair although I’ve heard this works best with thick coarse hair, I decided to give it a go.
Con
-weird floral chemical smell (but I got used to the smell after a few weeks and now I like it :O)
-conditioner contains parabens (I don't really care because research is inconclusive if parabens are a carcinogenic link)
-shampoo has sulfate (I don't really care although some people think sulfates are a harsh chemical but its in most shampoos, soaps and detergents)
-didn't think that it made my hair softer (but i do have thin asian hair i dont think it can be any softer)
Neutral
-unsure if my hair grows any quicker since my hair in general grows pretty quickly
Pro
-less hair fallout compared to my usual shampoo and conditioner
-slightly thicker, stronger hair
-hair is less oily for approximately 2-3 days
-hair feels silkier
-hair looks shinier
-hair feels like it gets dirty faster if I use a different shampoo + conditioner
Price
I usually see this for $6.99 - $8 at Walgreens, Rite Aid, Sally’s Beauty Supply and Walmart (cheaper than usual price range). I would suggest trying to get it at Walgreens or Rite Aid when they’re on sale for Buy one get one Free for the best deal.
How I Use it
Basically use the shampoo and focus on the scalp and run it through to the ends and leave it in for a
I was really excited to go back home for spring break and do some thrifting because back at school there are like no good thrift stores at all :/ I usually don't find anything at the salvation army by my house but totally lucked out and got some (in my opinion) great things!
First up are some white open toe heels from Aldo! I was so surprised to find these because I have some tiny feet (5.5)
and normally can't find anything in my size let alone Aldo. These are in pretty good condition and they feel really comfortable. I'm so happy I found these cuz they were on my Spring fashion list of things to get. Originally $9.99 but got it for $4.99 such a steal!
Next I found this really cute dark navy blue reptile textured clutch. It's really structured and has mettalic foots to stand on its own. It'd be perfect for a night out or when I wear something edgy/ rocker chic. Originally $5.99 but on sale for $2.99.
Next are some Old Navy tan shorts. I usually have a hard time findin shorts because I'm weary of showing my upper thighs and because I'm short bermuda cuts make me appear really really short and stumpy. Originally $3.99 on sale for $1.99.
Second to last are these forest green Banana Republic 3/4 length t-shirt. Dark green is really good against darker skin tones. Originally $2.99 on sale for $1.50.
Lastly I got this cute halter blue-white tank top. It reminded me of a nautical theme. It has a built in padded bra. This was also on my spring finds list. Originally $4.99 on sale for $2.50.
So total was $14 + tax and I'm really happy with my purchases.
Tip: Although it's a given to wash thrifted clothes don't forget to use disinfectants such as rubbing alcohol on shoes, jewelry and other accessories.
Have you ever gone thrifting?

I made the excuse to buy another pair of black boots because my last one's zipper broke and the exterior is getting pretty scratched up. Well that'll teach me from shopping for clothes/shoes in Walmart.
In any case I picked these up at Rainbow. They're pretty interesting it has a slouchy pleather-look but at the top is a matte elastic band that makes sure that it stays in place. So I can fold
it up or hide the elastic part to change up the look. It was on sale from $34.00 to $24.99 then final clearance at $15.00. They're really comfy and they have a good 2.5" heel which is nice because I'm pretty short.
I'm pretty much set for heels and I hope I stop spending money on shoes (other than the nude heels I'm looking for).
Where's your favorite cheap clothing/shoe store?
What's your fashion weakness?

Just did a quick ebay haul and bought a few things U've been wanting for a while.
I've been wanting the House of Harlow's black triangle necklace ~$125 but obviously can't or rather wouldn't pay that much for costume jewelry. Luckily I found a replica for $2.94

I've also been wanting a leopard scarf for a very long time but I could never find one in the mall so I relented and decided to get one on ebay. It cost $1.77 and it's made of rayon and nylon and its approximately 46cm x 155cm which is pretty long.

Lastly I've been wanting a collar necklace but I didn't really want a plain plate so I was searching for patterned peices and found this cool silve feather/ wing esque necklace. I thought it would make a really good statement piece. It costs $7.98 which is fair considering collar necklaces are kind of hard to find let alone patterned one. I was thinking of wearing it with a black dress to make it really pop.

I went to Mandee a few weeks ago and picked up these brown slouchy boots. They're by Qupid and they're originally $30 then priced down to $15.00 and then I took an additional 40% off so grand total of $9.
I think they're cute with the slouchy look and the wooden looking heel gives it a very down to earth feel. Tip for anyone who wants to make their legs look a little slimmer is to get slouchy
boots because it gives the optical illusion that your legs are just thick enough to keep it up.
What's your favorite kind of boots? Western? One with lots of straps and buckles? Fur? Etc.

A lot of girls try to emphasize their eyes with false lashes but these ones take it to a whole other level.
"Inspired by the art of Chinese paper cutting and 19th century French silk bobbin lace, these incredibly intricate paper lash extensions blend elements of traditional culture with contemporary design. Think of them as unique designer art for your lashes."
These are uniqely designed
lashes best worn for special occassions like halloween, theme part or photoshoot. They have 5 designs and each one has a symbolic meaning:
-deer and butterfly: free, beautiful, sensitive
-peach blossom: love and romance
peonies: happiness and good fortune
-peacock:auspicious and lucky days
-under the sea: secret treasures
It's made of 100% paper but can be used multiple time. They cost £11.99. They're made by London designer Chun
wai Lao who was inspired by the art of Chinese paper-cutting.
Would you try these? Have you ever worn false lashes before?

I love DIY projects like t shirt cutting. Although this is currently being sold at Urban Outfitters its really not that hard to make one for your self. I usually don't like giant backless shirts but i love the design on this.
You will need:
An oversized shirt
pencil/chalk
scissors
a flat surface
1. Simply lay your shirt inside out and place on a flat surface (I usually use a piece of
cardboard)
2. trace the skull pattern using pencil or chalk to make it easier to see. You may want to wear it and see if the pattern is large enough for your liking.
3. cut out the pattern
4. wear it out :D
I'll probably try making this one but also crop it in the front and let the back be long a flowy to make it more trendy.
Hopefully this will save you a few bucks and if you're anything like me, you'll be proud wof your resourcefulness ;D.
If you'd like to save yourself some time you can buy it at Urban outfitters for $39.99 + shipping. Unfortunately it's only online.

I thought this would be an awesome diy project. It reminds me of catching fireflies in paper cups but way more sophisticated and no flies will be harmed. It's basically a wine bottle with christmas tree lights inside creating a nice glow.
You will need:
an empty wine bottle
a drill
safety glasses and gloves (just in case the bottle breaks)
1/2″ glass drill bit
masking tape
short strand
of Christmas lights
The trick to this is that you musn't apply too much pressure on the wine bottle or else it might shatter. Sounds a little scary but you must admit the end result is beautiful.
Steps:
1. Was out an empty wine bottle, let it dry and remove the label
2. place a small piece of masking tape over the spot you will drill to prevent the drill from slipping
3. slowly and lightly drill the area enough for the string of lights to be placed in.
4. remove the tape, insert the lights and plug it in.
5. enjoy~

So I went to Marshall's a few days ago and surprisingly I found a couple of good things.
First up is a 3 for 1 deal. I got a tote, umbrella and a coin purse/wallet all for $39.99. It's the brand Tyler Rodan and originally costs $68.00. It feels like leather aka buttery to the touch and it has several pockets internally and externally. I think this would make a great mother's day gift (yeah I
know its far off but its hard for me to find gifts for my parents). Hopefully, she'll like it.
Lastly I found these Steve Madden green rain boots with a color blocking orange zipper. It feels super comfy and I hope they'll last way loner than my previous rain boots. They're a good size coming up to mid calf. Original retail is $78, at Marshalls for $39.99 and marked down all the way to $15! Score!
Which store do you prefer to shop at: Marshalls? TJ Maxx or Ross?
