I received this product in my Love VoxBox from Influenster this past month. It included multiple products that I love, especially these Kiss Nail Stickers. They are so convenient and easy to use! Mine were the pink and white design with jewels on them. They last about a week to 10 days and can be bought at the drugstore. They're worth the investment if you want a manicure that'll stay put for a
while! :)
Some of my favorite lip balms/moisturizers are the EOS [Evolution of Smooth] ball lip balms. Maybe it's the cool, cute packaging, or the variety of scents and colors but overall they are good lip balms.
My favorite is the pink one in Strawberry Sorbet. It smells amazing and moisturizers really well.
Names in pics: Orange-medicated tangerine, Lavender-Passion fruit, Pink-Strawberry Sorbet,
Yellow- Lemon, Minty green- Mint, Light green-honeydew, Brighter pink- Summerfruit.
The green circular container in the middle of the EOS lip balm circle is one of the lotions that EOS provides, in Original.
These are a great deal whether you're looking for decorational/collectible make-up pieces, or a good, cool lip balm. They range from $3-4 at various drugstores/chain stores [i.e. CVS, Walgreens, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.]
EOS also carries shaving creams and lotions which I have yet to try!
Polishing toe nails black has been a weird trend throughout the summer months. I've noticed more and more people with black painted toe nails this past summer than before and I realized I really, really hate the look of it lol. I think it just looks dirty and nasty. I like bright colors on my toe nails, even in the winter. I could never paint my toe nails black, ew. :P
Do you like black painted
toe nails? :-&
I received this lip gloss in the mail from Seventeen magazine after entering one of those contests that the first 500 people who enter win. I NEVER win anything from those, even if I buy the magazine on the first day it comes out so I was pretty shocked when I got this lol. I know Softlips chapsticks are really popular and I have an ELF one that is almost identical to the soft lips one but this
is one of their new products: a lip gloss. I thought it would be pretty good because of how much people love the chapsticks but I was kinda disappointed with it. The color is nice but it takes forever to blend and it's pretty drying. I'm glad I didn't pay for this item because I would've been really disappointed lol.
I'd give it *** 3 out of 5 stars because it is nice but it's not as smooth as I thought and the color pay off isn't all that great.
Have you tried this product? Do you like it? :)
October is my favorite month :) I love Halloween and fall weather and colors. Here are some of my favorites of the month:
*Allure magazine: I lovvvvvve magazines and lately Allure has become one of my favorites. I love the part about "Lusts and Musts" which show clothing items that are high end [lust] and similar looking items that are cheaper [musts].
*Lauren Conrad "Style" book: I am a huge
fan of Lauren Conrad BECAUSE of her style. I think she is so sweet and her clothes are alwaysssssss on point. I love love love her style so when I heard that she was coming out with a style book, I knew I had to buy it :)
*Revlon's lipstick in "Blush": this is my favorite pinkish nude lipstick ever. I love Revlon's Soft Nude and this lipstick is nude too but with a hint of pink :) it's like a mauve-y pinkish nude color :) similar to MAC's Viva Glam V [5].
EOS lip balm in "Honeysuckle Honeydew": I have the pink lip balm in "summer fruit" but this one is my favorite out of the two. It's so smooth and leaves my lips moisturized for a long time. It also smells reallyyyyyyyy good. :)
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse liquid foundation: I've heard great things about this foundation and I wanted to try it so I finally bought it. It gives nice coverage and applies nicely. The pump is great too and gives the right amount of product.
Cheetah [leopard?] print headband and slippers: My favorite print/thing of the month is anything with this print! I absolutely lovvvvvvvvvve this print! It looks great with anything. I love my headband [from Claires. Around $2-3] and slippers [from Target. Bought them on sale for $5, originally $10]. :)
What's your favorite product of the month? Did you dress up for Halloween? :) I was Minnie Mouse lol. What's your favorite print/trend of the moment? =]
Benefit recently came out with this concealer/highlight duo exclusively for Ulta. It is $12.00 and available with the little travel size/mini/"to go" items by the register. I don't really like the packaging especially how the label is a sticker. And the cap twists off.
Boi-ing concealer in shade "2": this concealer reminded me of the Some-kind-a-gorgeous foundation because of the consistency.
It's super creamy but seems to dry to a powder-y looked finish. It gives okay coverage and goes on lighter than it looks.
**** 4 out of 5 stars
Eye-bright highlight: I was kinda if-y about this highlight especially in this duo because it usually comes in a pencil-form and this is in a container. It's kinda drying and not as creamy as the concealer. It does give a nice glow though. I like it on the inner-tear duct or under the eyebrow.
*** 3 out of 5 stars
Have you tried this duo? or the products separately? :)
So for Halloween I knew I wanted to do a nail design that was Halloween-themed. I did these spider designs last year and got many compliments on them so I decided to do them again this year. I simply put on a black nail polish (by Milani) and using an art deco nail polish in White, I made an "X" in the middle of my nail, then a + sign and connected them with a rounded curve.
To add a little more
to the Halloween theme, I added a glow in the dark nail polish by Nite Lites in "Green" which I bought for about $2-3 at Ulta. :)
Did you do any Halloween nail designs? Are you dressing up for Halloween? :)
Front reads: Get Carried Away...Again
Back reads: Sex and the City 2
So in honor of Sex and the City 2 coming out on DVD today, I wore my Sex and the City 2 shirt :) This is my second post about this movie but I just love it so much :) and I love this shirt, not only because of what it says, but because of the type of shirt it is. It's kind of has a sublimation effect, like see-through which
is very appealing :) Since it has hot pink writing, I wore a hot pink cami underneath to peep through and brighten it up :)
I plan to buy Sex and the City 2 on DVD sometime this week :)
Are you going to buy this movie? Did you like the first or second one better? :)
It's barely fall yet spring trends are already showing :)
I saw in some magazines that spring 2011 trends are arriving in fashion shows everywhere. Some trends include:
-60's coats
-70's dresses
-military jackets
-high-waisted jeans
I know the military trend has been in for a while but it looks like it's gonna stay in style :)
The high waisted jeans were really in, a couple years ago
and it looks like they're coming back too.
I love the other 2011 spring trends posted on Glamour's website (link below). Check them out :)
What's your favorite 2011 spring trend so far?
I've been a fan of Sex and the City for a longggg time. :) When I heard about the first movie, I had to see it and when I finally did, I fell in love all over again. And then the second movie came out and I was sooooooooo excited to see it. I loved it :) I can't wait for it to come out on DVD October 26th so I can order it and watch it again :) Both have to be on my top 5 favorites :)
Did you
like the 1st or 2nd movie best? :)
