So here goes my first review!
I've always been a mild hoarder, or more like I stock up on products "in case" I run out. It's not too severe, but it's reached a point that I have finally cracked down and been determined to clear space and use up products!
Up for Review:
♡ Nelly - mascarilla hair mask
I've never heard of this brand before, or even seen this product. I found it at
Winner's (which is similar to ROSS I believe in the states) and it was only $5.99! I'm such a cheapskate and gravitate towards good deals.
It had the scent of apples, which is a scent I've always loved, and at 16.9 fl oz there is definitely enough product. The texture was pretty smooth, and not too sticky or thick.
In the end, I loved the scent, the results were only okay, so I think the price generally reflected the quality of the product. For the price I definitely can't complain though!

Technology on Apr 16, 2013 - 20:47
This is probably the biggest haul I will make in a long while (years), in terms of amount spent. I finally bit the bullet and got a new computer, my new iMac.
I was originally going to get the 25 inch (or was it 23" inches), but my dad (being the way he is) didn't understand why I didn't just go big or go home, and offered to pay the difference between sizes for me.
I don't really
purchase that much new technology, but I have been using my old Windows machine for years (probably got it at least 10 years ago) so I needed an update. Considering my career will be media based, this is definitely an investment for me.

I had this dish for dinner a few nights ago, I know it may not look the most appetizing, but it's so good! They are shrimp (normal sized) shelled and fried/sauteed with egg. The end result is like scrambled eggs with shrimp. Of course, the sauce is what makes it all yummy!
My Meal:
♡ Fried shrimp & Rice
This is definitely one of my favourite dishes that my dad makes. He keeps saying
that he's going to teach me and tell me the secret ingredient, hopefully I'll learn before I move out!

You know those cute and kind acts that just pick you up and make your day? This was definitely one of them. I am posting this pretty late, but I wanted to share.
It's my final year for my undergrad bachelor's degree, and end of november my boyfriend broke up with me (after 2 years, and 6 days after celebrating our anniversary as normal). With that and school, I had a really rough year.
One of my friends is amazing, and baked these red velvet cookies for all of us around Valentine's Day. Although I was in no mood to even think about the occasion, it was so sweet of her and the cookie was great!
Have you ever experienced a random act of kindness?

So I've recently just gone through my second dose of Accutane, and from my overall experience with acne and skin issues, I am now focused most on skincare. I feel like there's no point investing in makeup and learning about it when my base (my skin) is in horrible condition.
Thus I've gained a fixation with asian sheet masks, which led to this massive haul. I ordered from sasa.com, and since
there was no shipping deal at the time, I had to meet a certain dollar amount to get free shipping. Good news is that I was able to get deals on everything, I didn't want to get any mask that was much more than $1 per sheet.

As a glasses wearer with a pretty bad prescription (at least 6.25 on both sides), I wear glasses 24/7. I personally think it's such a pain for many reasons, I just wish for normal clear vision. Since that's not a choice, I can't turn to cheap frames... I have to go for expensive prescription glasses (I've never had a pair of sunglasses for this reason). They're at least $350+ for a pair!
I've
had my current pair for around 4 years, and they have served their purpose and are now pretty beat up. I was on the search for my next glasses, but the style I wanted never came with any nose pads (which I need). Until I found these!! They're actually a men's glasses, but because they are, they are bigger on my face which is the look I wanted! What do you think?
Haulage:
♡ Black Eddie Bauer Frames
I know I'll probably have these glasses for another 4 years at least, which I don't mind. I really love them and I glad I was finally able to find a pair that I was happy with!

What do you think of fringe? For example, in this picture, they made use of fringe as the focus of the clothing. I like the added pop of colour or texture, but I personally wouldn't have chosen to do it with fringe. However I do like the little studs.
I've seen Korean idols wear a lot of fringe in their stage outfits, but I find it's hard to pull off in everyday wear. I don't really think I
have a lot of fringe at all... last time I've really worn fringe like this was as part of one of my dance performance costumes!

One of my favourite restaurants in my city is called Gozen. It is a Japanese/Korean restaurant, which are two of my favourite types of food. The prices aren't the cheapest, but the quality is amazing! I went for lunch with a friend and ordered one of my usual choices. It came with the beef, rice, dumplings, salad, and a few rolls.
My Meal:
♡ Teriyaki Beef Bento Box
I love teriyaki
beef, it's usually what I order, and since it was lunch time I thought the portion sizes were pretty good without overdoing it.

I am more of a bag person rather than purses, and I've never really been one to spend hundreds of dollars on high-end bags. My favourite ones are actually from more affordable places such as Spring or Aldo, and I always get them when they go on sale. Maybe I'm frugal, but it worked for me. My bags are mainly shades of brown, it's one of my favourite colours and is handy as a neutral warm shade.
Lately, I've been branching out in styles/colours a bit, I found this tote at Winner's for sale, and it was discounted to around $40 instead of something like $70-80 dollars. Both the style and colour are expanding my boundaries bit by bit. I usually carry hobo style or baggier styles, but this tote has been working for me so far. As for the colour, although I guess it could be counted as an extension of a neutral, it is still close enough that I'm still really comfortable carrying it and matching it with outfits.
The only reason I pretty much got this brand name item was because it was on sale... go figure!

I never really bought many things at Bath & Body Works, since I live at home I'm not in charge of buying items such as soap, and I always thought it was a waste of money to spend on fancy items when you could save and get just as good products.
Well, my boyfriend is moving out of his place and since I'll be spending time at his place, I've been feeling a lot more domestic. Their semi-annual
sale drew me in and I thought that at that price, why not?
These are just the products I picked up for my boyfriend's place, especially since he is clueless about things such as this.
