Massive Yankee Candle Outlet Haul :)

About a week ago I was contacted on Facebook from someone on the Yankee Facebook forum asking for a custom purchase. I posted that I didn't mind doing so after all it gave me a reason to go shop and its doing good for others. Among giving me a reason to shop it gave me a reason to buy I had a Yankee store credit and I knew the outlet was the best way to get the most for my money. They had large jars 2 for 28 which is basically buy 1 get 1 free if you were paying retail. They had medium jars 3 for 28 which is nearly buy 1 at retail and get 2 free mediums were for sure the better deal but they didn't have the scents I wanted in mediums so I mainly purchased larges. Along with the sale prices their was also a 20% off a $30 purchase or more so I saved even more! I am all about saving. The candles I purchased were Pumpkin Patch Swirl Medium this is a blend of Spiced Pumpkin and Harvest this is so good I regret not buying more and will buy more if they still have it when I go back. I picked up 5 Larges Berry Jam which is so yummy it reminds me of fruit roll ups but doesn't have a synthetic smell to is. Frosted Pumpkin which kind or reminds me of Pumpkin Rolls, Apple Cider which was the only Apple scent they had in large jars I'm trying to stock up on fall fragrances as I have so many summer ones. Banana Cream Pie this is to die for it smells like graham cracker crust, jello banana instant pudding, and cool whip its a complex scent and is divine! The last I picked up for my self was a large pure radiance this was a surprise to see as their were no other pure radiance candles candles in store so I had to grab it the scent is Creme Brulee the sales clerk said it reminds her of a pancake breakfast how right I must say she was. I also picked up the $20 fragrance loves tote that I will talk more about in another post. The candles my fellow friend asked me to custom purchase for her were four medium jars in Vanilla Pumpkin, Trick or Treat Swirl, Witches Brew, and Candy Corn. She doesn't have many Halloween fragrances and wanted to add to her collection. Now I need to behave and not buy anymore candles for awhile! I doubt I can hold true to that though as I'm already thinking of more.

Gift from Erin: Lots of Tarts

Saturday I received a huge padded mailer from my friend Erin in NY I met Erin from youtube her user ID is ErinMakinScents her and I clicked and became close she knows my love for home fragrance and sent me a padded mailer of tarts she made. I love tarts and I feel like she scent me all the ones I love Winter Candy Apple, Love Spell, Pure Seduction, Amber Romance, Apple Mango Tango and so many others. Looks like I need to start melting so I can enjoy these!

Yankee Candle $20 Fragrance Lover Tote over $100 Value!

This month Yankee Candle ran a promotion similar to Bath and Body Works with their totes where if you purchase a certain amount $50 in this case you could purchase the fragrance lover tote valued at over $100 for $20 I jumped on this train not only because of the value but because I had a 20% off coupon and was able to get the bag of products for $16 a lot of products in this bag I do have to say were air fresheners for the car. Bath and Body Works Slatkin Market Peach Candle Review

I took a trip to bath and body works during their last 2 for $20 canle sale this is the best time to stock up as 14.5oz candles that are originally 19.50 ea go on sale 2 for $20 if you use a survey coupon you can get 3 for $20 This year their has been quite a few BBW scents I've feel in love with but not all have lived up to my expectations Ive exchanged pry over 15 candles this year because of poor burns I know that sounds liek a lot but I have over 100 slatkin candles yes you read that right. One candle I wanted to stock up on was Market Peach from the Fresh Market Collection I feel for this hard when it came out it smells like a juicy peach when you cut into it, its so realistic and amazing. It has burned well the only down fall I have found is the first burn is the best you get an unbelievable throw than it seems to settle down. I have been using it in conjunction with tarts for a heavier scent since BBW no longer makes tarts Ive been burning Yankee Peaches and Berries with it which is an awesome combo I love it!

Week 2 Weight In SUCCESS It was a LOSS!

Its monday the 2nd weigh in since my diet and I'm happy to say its another loss last week I lost 4ibs this week wasnt as successful but still was a success as I lost 2ib my percentage of muscle has went up and my percentage of water. We all know muscle weighs more than fat so its nice to see Im starting to gain some muscle. I've lost 10ibs total since visiting the docs my goal is to lose 15 by my birthday July 4th I have about 5 wks and 2 days till my goal so I really hope to reach it. I havent figured out how I'm going to treat my self yet. I might take a trip to the Grove City Outlets in PA a small out of state trip that involves lots of walking got to get my exercise and not to mention some shopping! Wish me luck in reaching my goals thank you to everyone who supports me :)
