shrimp ceviche tostada

On Saturday my boyfriend, some friends and I ate at a local mexican restaurant which is also our go to place for mexican food. We ate hear before heading to the movies to watch Batman. I didn’t want to eat too much because I really wanted movie theater popcorn so I just got an order of the shrimp ceviche tostada and I kinda was also eating a bit of my boyfriends burrito hehehe! I’ve ordered the shrimp ceviche tostada plenty of times before and it’s always good each time I order it and my favorite thing about it is that it has avocado on top! If you love seafood I’m sure you’ll like this dish.

the boyfriend brings me sprinkles!

sprinkles cupcakes are like my favorite thing ever and one day last week my boyfriend brought me home some :) His office is near a Sprinkles so he surprised me with a box. He really knows me very well especially what food I like hahaha! I got a box of four that had 3 red velvets and 1 banana cupcake with chocolate frosting. Of course I shared so I didn't feel too guily eating 2 cupcakes that night but they were delicious! **my pics

his & hers in-n-out

Boyfriend and I stopped by In-N-Out on our lunch break earlier today! Luckily He was on his lunch hour the same time as me today and so we ended up going to in-n-out because it's in the middle of both of our workplaces. He ended up getting a double double hamburger with cheese fries and I got a regular cheeseburger and animal fries. It was probably a bad idea to get animal fries for lunch today because I felt way too full to even go back to work after eating! lol **pic is mine

it wouldn't be a filipino party without all the food!

This is just what the typical spread looks like at my family parties. We always have more the enough food and it really wouldn't be a filipino party without an insane amount of food. My cousin just graduated so she had a huge party at her house and all my family was there. Obviously you can see the table is completley covered corner to corner with food. Some of the dishes in the picture are fried rice, chow mein, palabok (filipino rice noodle dish), fried chicken, beef and broccoli, spring rolls, salad, chips and dip and a whole lot more! Everything was good and I was in complete food coma afterwards LOL **pic is mine

lazy sushi dinner

I just came home from doing some food shopping from costco! I'm finally done with the semester and I havne't had any food in my apartment the last 2 weeks because I've been busy studying and also with work so it was time to restock my fridge. I also didn't have anything to eat for dinner so I ended up getting one of the trays of prepaackaged sushi. I am a sushi lover but have never gotten premade sushi before so I wasn't sure what to expect. The tray came with 3 different types of california rolls and surprisingly it was actually pretty good tasting. Not the best sushi but it's good when your really hungry and you just so happened to be at costco hahaha.

$1.99 ikea breakfast

Earlier this morning the boyfriend and I was at Ikea. I’m moving into a new apartment so I brought the boyfriend along to help me lift heavy furniture =) I wanted to get there early before it got busy so we were there right when they opened but of course we first stopped and grabbed breakfast at the ikea restaurant. This is called the big breakfast and it consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast sticks. This was a decent amount of food and it was only $1.99! And since I have a ikea family card I got free coffee! I know on Monday’s ikea has free breakfast until 11am but it’s this breakfast plate without the French toast but if you want the French toast sticks you can order a side order of it for only 99cents so you get the free breakfast the the French toast for less money then the “big breakfast”. I love eating here and the food is always good!

suuuuuushi!

Just got back not too long ago from dinner with the boyfriend and his parents. His parents treated us out to a sushi dinner! For dinner I had some miso soup, some edamame and then I got two sushi rolls. The first roll I got was a deep fried california rool and then the other one I got was called a godzila roll. Both were good but I loved the fried california roll better because of the crunch!

lunch @ school

Usually I don't eat lunch on campuse because I just go home and eat but yesterday I didn't want to leave campus because I had to be back in an hour and a half so I thought i'd kill time and just have lunch at the campus cafe. Lunch wasn't anything specialy just a ham sandwich with cheese,lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard but it was very good and filling. I also got a bag of potato chips because I wanted crunchy to much on! ***pic is mine
