Makeup can completely transform how a girl looks - but it's more that just being superficial and pretty - it can change how a girl feels, how a girl interacts with the world and a girl's self confidence. Makeup doesn't really hurt anyone and I believe EVERYONE should do whatever makes them happy =D Would love to know what you think, is there such a thing as too much makeup? Or hiding behind makeup?

SNEAK PEEK: Lancome Ultra Lavende Collection Spring 2011

The Ultra Lavende Spring 2011 makeup collection (launch date not yet announced) contains a beautiful blush, two nail polishes, two lipglosses and three eye colors. I love all the colors, so pretty and wearable. The blush is so pretty - too pretty to use >.< Would love to know what you think of the upcoming collection?

REVIEW: Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser

Description: - "The purity one-step facial cleanser is formulated for all skin types, replaces you makeup remover, eye makeup remover, facial cleanser and toner deep cleanses pores and hydrates as it melts away makeup" Review: - It has a super creamy texture. It doesn't foam up when you lather it into you hands. it has a very light lavender smell, which i'm not usually a fan of, but i do like this one. it's very delicate and gentle and removes eye makeup without hurting my eyes. leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised. although, I think it's more of a pre-cleanser than an actual cleanser-cleanser and if you prefer a super squeaky clean feel after cleansing then you may not like this one. But because it is so gentle, it makes a perfect as a morning cleanser. I absolutely love the philosophy packaging. So simple and cute. Would love to know if you've tried this? Or any other great cleansers?

Review:- The Lancome genefique concentrate is definitely one of my favourite skin care products for 2010. I am a true skeptic when it comes to any product that claims to make me 'younger', but i love this because it does make my skin much smoother. i'm also a skeptic when a any product claims to make a difference in just seven days - but this really works for me! the clear gel-like formula sinks straight into my skin and gives that extra 'boost'. I use this day (one drop) and night (two drops) after lancome pure focus tonique and before moisturising. The pipet-like applicator makes it feel so luxurious too. love the sleek packaging. Would love to know if you've tried Lancome's Youth Activtor? Or any other great concentrates or serums?

REVIEW: Lancome Tonique Pure Focus

Description: 'Reveal skin that’s noticeably more matte and fresh with this skin-purifying oil-free toner. This refreshing formula features honeycomb-shaped micro-captors to absorb oil deep within pores while Zinc Gluconate limits the effects of visible sebum and salicylic acid helps unclog pores. Shine disappears, skin is clean, pure and lastingly matte. Pores are tightened and more refined, leaving skin smooth and touchably soft.' Review:- I've been using the tonique for a little over a week. while i don't have oily skin, I tend to have an oilier t-zone over the summer months. I'm not convinced that it leaves a noticeably matte finish, however, the tonique definitely leaves skin feeling more fresh and clean. the tonique is made up of two components: the liquid and the powdery stuff (at the bottom). these micro-captors are great for soaking up excess oil. so make sure to shake the toner before use. with a couple of drops on a smooth cotton pad, it removes every trace of makeup. it also leaves a 'tingly' feeling on this skin. this could irritate people who have super sensitive skin. overall, it's a great refreshing toner for summer. Would love to know if you've tried the Lancome Tonique? Or any other great toners?
