Hey everyone,
Just making a quick post to show you what I did to my hair last weekend!
I dip-dyed my hair with peroxide last June so it's been ombre ever since then.
I decided I wanted colours in my hair but on temporary colour as my 6th form won't allow unnatural hair colours. So I found a YouTube tutorial showing how to colour your hair with chalk
pastels!
You just colour your hair with the chalk when your hair is wet then use a hairdryer to seal the colour in with heat. I then also went over sections with my hair straightener to make colours brighter.
This is only temporary - it comes out when you wash your hair, but it was a bit of fun and worked in my dark hair whereas an actual colour hair dye wouldn't work in my hair. I might do this again with one colour like pink or blue for a party I'm going to soon!
The chalk does come off if you touch it etc so I did end up with colours on my white jumper - I'd advise wearing a dark top if you do this!

I got the Benefit Cosmetics "How To Look The Best At Everything" set a while ago and I decided to do a review on it! This set is your entire flawless foundation routine: a pore-perfecting primer, lightweight foundation, two shades of full-coverage concealer and a powder foundation.
What's Inside? -
- the POREfessional PRO balm to minimise the appearance of
pores
- hello flawless oxygen wow “cheers to me” champagne brightening makeup
- boi-ing 01 & 02 industrial-strength concealer
- “hello flawless!” “me vain?” champagne custom powder cover-up
If you know me, you know that I have an obsession with Benefit Cosmetics. I love pretty much all of their products - they are such high quality and work incredibly well for me. Also, lets not forget that I'm always drawn in by the packaging - I swear they are the best cosmetics brand for packaging; it's always so cute and girly!
I particularly love the makeup sets that Benefit release as they include many different products to try out in smaller sizes which are easy to take in your bag etc. The kits are always in cute little boxes which are easy to travel with and store in your makeup collection as well as looking adorable on display on your vanity! I also love how each set comes with a large mirror inside and a selection of "tips and tricks" about each product.
I received the Benefit "How To Look The Best At Everything" set in the colour "Light" as a birthday gift from a relative and I love it! It's perfect because you don't have to buy a primer, concealer, foundation and powder separately - they're all in this set for £24.50. This kit is basically the "essentials" for your skin in one cute set!
I love the Boi-ing concealers (there are two shades included in the set) - I've used them before but never got around to repurchasing as they cost a lot on their own so I'm very glad to have this concealer again! I'm also enjoying the Hello Flawless powder and the Porefessional primer which I currently have several of because I love it so much!
The Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow SPF 25 foundation is very lightweight and looks great on the skin however it doesn't work as well as I would have hoped on my very fair skin as the colour in the Light set is too dark for me. All of the other products in the set are amazing and the foundation has a great finish and coverage but unfortunately it's too dark on me. The foundation included in the Light set isn't the actual lightest shade of the foundation that they sell, so I'm sure I'd be able to find the right shade if I wanted too.
I highly recommend this set unless you have extremely pale skin like I do as the foundation will not match properly (the other products work fine though). The set comes in 3 shades - Light, Medium and Deep. If you've been wanting to try out any of these products or need a new foundation routine then check out this set :)

Hey everyone!
I've been gone for ages I know, but I've been very busy with studying for my A Levels and recently I've been very ill!
So today I decided to treat myself to a lovely hot bath with lots of my favourite products, give myself a mani-pedi and do a hair treatment. I'm still feeling very ill, but at least my skin and hair is all lovely and soft and my
nails are painted so my appearance is a bit better ;)
Anyway, read more for more pics and details on my essential products and how I use them!
-E
Step 1: A lovely hot bubble bath!
I use this lovely "Soft Pink" bubble bath by Avon which smells lovely with my Avon Senses Reflection shower gel which I adore. The scent is "Peacefull Oriental Orchid & Raspberry" which smells deliciously fruity - a little goes a long way with this as I've had this bottle since christmas yet I've hardly used any up at all :)
Step 2: After my relaxing soak, I then moisturised with my new Garnier Intensive 7 Days Nourishing Lotion which I have to say is the best moisturiser I've ever tried! It's incredibly cheap too and smells amazing - I have the softening cocoa butter one and the scent does last a long time on my skin after I've used it. I've also been re-applying my Next Just Pink Lip Balm throughout the day because it's shimmery and tastes so good!
Step 3: Hot Oil Hair Treatment!
I used this Planet Spa (sold at Avon) mediterranean olive hot oil treatment on my hair which left it feeling silky smooth and smelling good enough to eat! :P
Step 4: I then put in my Macadamia Nourishing Leave-In Cream which has to be my favourite hair product - Macadamia products smell so good and work wonders on my naturally curly hair!
Step 5: At-home Pedicure!
I used my Avon Foot Works all in one pedicure on my feet followed by my Avon Foot Works heel softening cream which left my feet really soft.
Step 6: Nails
I clipped and filed my nails to make sure they looked nicer and got rid of any sharp edges as my nails have been breaking a lot recently due to being ill and cold weather.
Step 7: I then painted my toenails in Essie "To Buy or Not to Buy" which is a gorgeous shimmery lilac and my fingernails in NYC mint green which I forgot to include in the previous photo.
Step 8: Finally, snuggle up in your comfiest pyjamas with your favourite hot drink (mine is green tea) and watch an episode or two of your favourite tv show or something to cheer you up! I watched The Big Bang Theory because it's one of my favourite shows and makes me laugh!

PS, I'll try and blog a lot more consistently, but at the moment I am still ill so I need time to recover!

Hey everyone!
It was my birthday on halloween (I'm 17 now!) and I was so excited when I received this present from my brother!
I wanted Taylor Swift's new album (even though I'd already downloaded it on iTunes) which is called "Red" but I never imagined I'd get a signed copy :D
Taylor has such a cute signature!
What do you think of Taylor's new album?
I preferred her old more country style like in her previous albums (Taylor Swift, Fearless and Speak Now) but I do like this new style too :)

Hey everyone!
I've always wanted to try out Essie nail polishes but I'd never got around to it until now.
I was browsing FragranceDirect.co.uk and found Essie nail polishes for only £1.99!! They were selling out very quickly so I made sure to get a couple... There were about 20 different colours and now there are only 4 left so I'm glad I bought them
quickly!
The colours I got:
Ballet Slippers - wanted a classic everyday colour and this one is a perfect creamy pale pink
To Buy or Not To Buy - This is a gorgeous lilac with a hint of blue shimmer (which only shows up in the bottle). I've been wearing this constantly because it's such a pretty shade :)
Orange It's Obvious - As the other two colours I bought were pastel colours I decided to get this as it's very bright and I love it! I always get compliments when I wear this colour :)
I love all 3 of the nail polishes I got and I still can't believe that they were only £1.99!

So today I went to a huge Joules outlet sale! My mum and I bought lots of things and I bought my boyfriend a couple of things too :)
I got an olive and purple green thick cardigan, a yellow short-sleeved spotty blouse for school and a pink polo shirt. Everything was discounted majorly as Joules is expensive normally.. I don't remember the prices of everything, but
I do remember that the pink polo shirt was originally £59.99 down to £16.50!! (I know, the deals were ridiculous)
My mum and I were there for ages as it was basically a warehouse full of clothes that were so discounted!

I was browsing Perez Hilton and found this rather odd story of a woman called Terri Graham who breastfeeds her pug yet bottle-fed her own children!
She noticed that one of her pug's puppies, named Spider, wasn't drinking its mother's milk so she decided to breast-feed it! (in my opinion that's gross)
This is what she says about it:
"People may say I'm a freak,
but having Spider suck on my boob means I finally feel complete and a better mother. Her tongue tickles and I do feel her teeth, but she latches on in a way that they don't hurt me. I breastfeed Spider in front of the kids and they think it's amazing."
What do you think about this???! Personally I think it's disgusting but each to their own I guess....

This is such a gorgeous nail polish colour by Models' Own! It's very glittery with shades of blue, purple and red.
I found this on WeHeartIt (exact link below), but as the info is in German, I have no idea what colour it is... If you know, please comment as I'd love to buy this colour!
Do you like this nail polish or is it too glittery for your taste?

I was browsing WeHeartIt and found this gorgeous look which is originally from biglightsgreatcity.tumblr.com
I love the red velvet skirt paired with the black jacket and black hair bow! Plus the red lipstick goes really well and her ombre hair looks stunning! I have ombre hair myself, but not as light as hers :)
What do you think of the
outfit?
