So this is random but I was craving some french toast this evening. I googled a recipe to make one serving of french toast and I found this and it was so easy it literally took me 5 minutes to make.
Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
•2 slices of bread
•⅓ cup of milk
•2 tablespoons sugar
•1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•1 pinch of salt
•1
egg
•Butter
Method of Preparation
The first thing you need to do is beat the egg and add milk, sugar, vanilla extract, pinch of salt and cinnamon to eggs. Whisk thoroughly till it forms an even concoction. Now, add a bit of butter to the frying pan and allow it to melt on medium heat. Dip your bread slices in the batter and make sure you cover both sides with batter. Then place the dipped bread on the frying pan and cook till both sides are slightly brown and crisp. You can add your favorite toppings and enjoy your French toast for breakfast.
Got this recipe from Buzzle.com. It turned out really well and tasted like french toast. The only thing I messed up on was I didn't cook it long enough so I had to through it back in the pan and let it cook some more. Then I just added some fresh blueberries on top and Voilà!!!
This weeks nails are inspired by a Youtube video I watched made by the lovely Ms. sayanythingbr00ke. You can watch the video here: http://youtu.be/jBaQUb3N0Dw .
I used mint green, yellow and bright pink all from the OPI collection and painted diagonal stripes on my nails. Then I took my China Glaze black crackle and painted one top coat over them to give it that crazy cool pattern.
I
absolutely love the turn out and I do not have a steady hand so the stripes did look a bit messy but it didn't matter because I put the black crackle above it. Anyone can recreate this look on their own and you can use whatever colors you want to create a cute theme. I can't wait to try out new colors and patterns with all of different crackles from China Glaze.
Tell me what you think. Do you love or hate this nail look?

My nails of the week are brought you buy OPI's color "Lucky Lucky Lavender". I really really love pastels right now. I went and bought this color and a nude color(which I will do next).
Sorry I took the picture a couple days after painting my nails, so my nails are a bit chipped and not shaped very well. (I need a manicure!!!) But, I saw this color at the beauty supply store and had to get it.
I wanted to share it with you guys so tell me what you think of this nail color. Hot or Not ?

Last week I went to DSW, which is my favorite shoe store and is also an hour drive from my house. There were so many shoes that I wanted to buy but unfortunately I only had enough money to buy one pair for now and I had a $20 off coupon. (Every time you buy shoes there you get points and they give you gift card rewards)
So I purchased these Guess black lace-up wedges. They were originally $79
(I think) and on sale at DSW for $49.99 plus my $20 off coupon they cost me $29.99 plus tax. So it was pretty reasonable for the Guess brand. They also had these shoes in brown which I had a hard time deciding which color to get but ultimately realized that the black wedges would go with just about everything in my closet.
While at DSW, I also discovered a brand called Jellypop and they make the most adorable shoes. I really wanted a pair of heels by them but unfortunately they did not have my size. :(
Have you guys checked out DSW? I highly recommend their store, they have a lot of amazing shoes and they are all reasonably priced!!

This is another thing I picked up at Marshall's. It's a sign that says "What happens at the beach, stays at the beach!" It cost $5.99 so it was a steal!!
I'm redoing my bathroom right now and it has a beachy theme going on so this sign fit in perfectly. Marshall's had like a whole aisle filled with beach decorations and they are all priced $10 and under so I will most definitely be back to get
another piece for the bathroom.
Another thing I've been trying to figure out is what to paint my bathroom. I was thing of like a tan color to represent sand, or maybe a light yellow to go with the beach theme. If you guys have any other ideas for me on how I can decorate my bathroom, please do tell!

Coffee? Tea? or Me? I found this ginormous coffee cup at Marshall's a couple days ago. It cost me $3.99 which I think is a steal for this cute cup.
This cup holds at least 3 times more than the average coffee cup which is great if your lazy and don't want to keep going back to the coffee pot to fill up your mug.
Marshall's had a couple of other big cups with different designs if any of you
guys are interested and want to grab one!!

I picked up these wedges a couple days ago at Marshall's. They're by the brand Dollhouse and I found them in the clearance section so they only cost $20. Score!
I wore them for the past two days and they are so comfortable. I love wedges because they are so much easier for me to walk in than heels and they don't hurt my feet.
They are actually a lot more green in real life, I don't know
why they show up so brown in the photos. I'd have to say I wouldn't pay full price for them but because they were on sale they really lit up my radar.
You can find a lot of amazing deals on brands such as Guess, Dollhouse, Juicy Couture, Coach, Ralph Lauren and more at Marshall's. So I suggest you guys check it out if your interested!!

This is the Clarisonic Skin Care Brush and it is the best investment I have ever made! I bought this back in November at Sephora for $195.
Now it may seem pricey, but it is cheaper than going to the dermatologist and having them give you a dermabrasion.
How to use it:
*wet your face and apply facial cleanser
*run Clarisonic brush under hot water
*start with your forehead and press the
button
*you do 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds on the nose & chin and 10 seconds on each cheek.
*then rinse your face with water.
The best part is after you wash your face, your skin will never feel as smooth as this!!! What the brush does is scrub deeply into your face removing all the oil & dead skin buildup.
Another pro to the Clarisonic brush is that I have not broken out since I started using it! I tend to use the brush once a day or every other day just depending on how dirty my skin feels.
If your thinking about getting this then it is an absolute must buy. I know they are even cheaper versions of this that are now available at the drug store. So if you want to check those out as well you can.
If you guys have any questions feel free to ask! And if you own this brush leave a comment!!!

I recently bought the whole Crackle collection from China Glaze, so I decided to try out the pink crackle. The color is called "Broken Hearted". I put a silver base coat and than the pink crackle as a top coat. I think I could of used a better base coat but I will try a different combo in a couple days. Let me know what you guys think of these nails. Hot or not??
