Fathers Day or not, it's still lazy Sunday for me :)
Today I decided to wear my light blue collared shirt with navy blue shorts. For a simple addition I wore my diamond necklace, that almost look like Christmas lights! It has an accent color of turquoise so I thought that was a nice touch to my outfit. Also I was wearing my brown leather strap Anne Klein watch, but just took it off to make Spam
Musubi for my husband.
After taking this photo, I realized I matched my couch and my walls. I guess my whole home? Haha.
This is a really easy DIY, especially when you find the perfect frame. I found this frame, in a set of two at my local flea market and got it for $20 along with something else. These came in black, so I spray painted these white (bad idea) and it didnt stick onto the gram because of the material. So I ended up painting these white with actual paint from my hardware store. It turned out a lot
better! Then I bought these rectangle mirrors from my dollar store and I had to tape them on the front of the frame using double sided tape because the mirrors were too big for the inside of the frame (which sucked). But I guess it all worked out because I still got to use it for what it was and can always put the mirror back on if I wanted to.
I forgot I had this thing! I purchased this briefcase style bag from UO so long ago and I just pulled this out of one of our moving boxes. I love this bag and the style is so unique and different. It's actually roomy too, well duh! Anyway, I used this bag when I went to one of my "business" showcases and got a lot of compliments on it! I think I got this thing on sale too for $20! What a steal.
As I was wondering the halls of my local MCX I came across these MK Jelly Sandals (forgot the actual name of these) and I thought "hey why not try them on." I really liked them and turned them over to look at the price and saw that it was $39.99 and knew I had to get them. They're actually really comfy for jelly sandals and they're good quality. They don't make my feet uncomfortable like most
jelly shoes and they haven't gave me blisters...yet! But I hope they won't haha
I purchased these in a dusty rose pink and black because I really thought I would love it. Actually I do love these but they're a little short for me (since I am a Mom now haha) and I decided to put these up for sale. If you're interested please shop my closet on PoshMark under the name "supercindy." I put these up for really cheap and the black one has never been worn. I only wore the pink one
once and this was my ootd. I just put it together with a white top, beige blazer, and small bar belt.
My most recent purchase from Michael Kors is his Weston Satchel. I picked this over the Selma because it was much bigger and more casual. I also love the tassel detail. Idk why I've been obsessed with tassels lately because all my purchases have been because of a tassel detail. But that's beside the point ;)
Anyway, I usually wear this cross body and I love the look of it. It only looks so
square in the photo because the tissues are still inside of it. But other than that, it's really "hobo" looking
I love wearing accessories (if you couldn't already tell) and I don't think anything is ever too much. This set includes two different purchases. My stacked ring sets are from F21. I think it was only $3, I don't quite remember but I know it was inexpensive. I loved the ties knot and the basic gold link ring. The other ring is a YSL inspired ring from http://somethingglamorous.storenvy.com and I
think it was $10. I love the color of it and it was a perfect match for my F21 stacked rings!
We finally got into the groove of things in our new home and painted the house! For my room I wanted to keep it the classic and clean white with an accent wall of black & white stripes. Thank God for my husband who figured out how to use the laser beam to make straight lines! Haha. He finished this project in about 2 hours and I absolutely loved it! This is the "progress" picture and I will be
posting up the FINAL picture later once I get ally things set up. But I love it and I will say, there are little black splatter just outside of the black lines, but it actually makes this wall look "vintage" so I don't mind haha
For my sons 1st Birthday we did a "mustache bash" and I made obnoxious ,oversized bow ties for the boys and girls. I went to Hobby Lobby (my now, favorite store) and purchased a stack of fabric for $9.99 and cut them into square pieces and used hot glue gun to put them together. Also to wear these I purchase small safety pins to attach it to their shirts. You can cut the square into whatever size
you want to determine how big or small you want it to look. I then super glued the edges of the fabric so they don't look so jagged (due to the cutting). If you want a more detailed description, you can always search YouTube for easy DiY!
There was this one night when I wasn't able to sleep and so I was browsing the Apple App Store for a new app to play with. While searching, I found this app called "perfect365" and I read the reviews and saw the ratings so I thought "why not!" This app is crazy good! The photo below is the altered image with the makeup I chose from Perfect365. You can always adjust the dots to fit the makeup
perfectly to your face and it looks real! I feel like now I can take pictures and put makeup on my face using this app, without actually having to put makeup on! Just kidding, but seriously, it's pretty cool! If you decide to download this app, let me know! I love seeing the looks that people pull together.
