This is a small and unplanned haul from awhile ago - I don't really buy a lot being on a tight budget but I guess it has it's good sides - even the tiniest haul makes me happy to no limits :) Well I went to the drugstore to pick up two products to add to my mommy's bday gift - foundation and lipgloss. I am proud of myself because I picked the perfect shade for my mom's complexion (very different
from mine) and the lipgloss shade is exactly what she likes. These lipglosses are by a polish drugstore brand called Wibo and they are only like 1,50$ BUT the quality is surprisingly good! They feel very moisturizing and they stay on just as long as any other regular formula lipgloss would. You don't get a lot of product in the tube though and I personally don't like the minty smell of it but that's just me. Still definetely worth the price though.
I also picked up enzymatic peeling and the most amazing heating mask ever - I swear by everything that this product is the only thing under the sun that cleans up my pores and removes blackheads from my nose. They are ALWAYS back but for a few days after using this mask I truly have a baby skin. I wish they sold it in tubes!
And last but not least - a product that I will dedicate a separate post to - an AMAZING eyeliner brush! I have lost my favorite one 2 years ago, it was a brush I was really used to and I could ceate a perfect line with it and ever since I bought a few decent ones but couldn't gain the same control. This one is the EXACT dupe of the brush I lost, it's thin and small which allows you to draw a really precise line. The bristles are perfect, the handle is comfy - what more could I ask for? Especially for - tadaaa - $3,50!

I know it's been awhile since I did my little mineral makeup haul but I think it's still worth to mention the eyeshadows from the brand I hauled - that is Signature Minerals.
I ordered sample baggies since I have a quite large selection of eyeshadows already and I don't even use eyeshadows daily but when I do I like to play with colors and textures so I'd rather have a lot of shades in small
amounts than a very few full sized ones :)
I must say I really like these - as for mineral eyeshadows they are a decent quality, the pigmentation is nice, they apply smoothly and don't come off when you try to blend them as it happens with some of the mineral eyeshadows. I always use an eyeshadow base but with some brands even that didn't help...
Anothe thing I REALLY like about them is the shades - they don't have a huge selection but the shades they offer are mostly really unique and absolutely stunning. They do come off a bit different than the swatches on the website but nevertheless they are still gorgeous and unusual - I love Midnight, Moon and Eggplant, I also really like the warm, terracote inspired matte neutrals - they are GREAT for everyday makeup look but they still look different than your usual beiges and browns.
Let me know if you would like to see the swatches!

So for awhile now I've had enough points for my first Luuux prize that is the widely-desired Sigma brush set. Since Luuux doesn't ship to my country though I will have to wait until I'm in America this summer to order my prize and I do hope that 3 months of me being there is enough for the order to be processed and completed :) I am also hoping deep in my heart that by the summer I will collect
enough points to place two or maybe even three orders (that would be amazing!).
I wanted to thank everyone who commented on my posts and helped me to get to the score that I have now :) Merci!
It might be a bit random but in the same post I'd like to encourage everyone to volunteer! That's exactly what I'll be doing this summer and what I've done the two previous summers and let me tell you that: the satisfaction it gives you is amazing and uncomparable to anything else. Genuinely helping people who need different forms of support really makes you a better person. Volunteering is never easy, it's not a vacation, you will be tired and stressed but at the same time feel amazing about what you are doing. I'm working with people with disabilities, I still consider myself a beginner on that field but helping them and seeing smile on their faces makes my heart grow and also being around them I truly appreciate my health. It's like you really don't think about how blessed you are that you can talk, see, hear, walk etc until you see people who are unable to do that or need major help. I think volunteering made me a better person, I'm so much more emotionally grown than I was when I first started, definetely more responsible and I learned to appreciate little things. I understood how wonderful it is to contribute to others - even if you don't have the money to offer them help there is always a lot you can do just using your time.
I am double excited about this summer. Keep your fingers crossed for me and my points :) Feel free to visit my profile for some beauty and fashion related posts (I haven't been posting frequently lately but this is about to change!) :-)

Gorgeous Irina Shayk is the face (and body) of Dany Mizrachi's Haute Couture 2011 collection. I must admit - the model looks amazing wearing these breathtaking the bridal gowns. The contrast beetween desert and mountains landscape and the dresses leaves me absolutely
stunned.
The collection itself contains lots and lots of beautiful designs - if you want to see more I suggest you check out the lookbook that you can find here: http://www.danymizrachi.com/DM_10/index11_content.htm
How do you like these gowns and Irina as the face of the collection? Let me know!

Satchels seem to be getting really big now - you can find bags in that style at major retailers such as H&M or Zara or Forever 21. I thought I'd share with you ladies this satchel that I am in love with for long months now but unfortunately I
can't buy it just yet because I'm on a tight budget :(
This classic, oldschool satchel is produced by The Cambridge Satchel Company. It is available in a few sizes and colors so you have a few options to pick the one that suits your personal style best. I am hoping to buy the vintage brown "batchel" type.
How do you like this type of bag? Would you like to add it to your wardrobe?

I don't know how about you ladies but I love me some Sonia Kashuk! I do not live in the United States but I had a chance to visit and that's when I got familiar with the brand - especially their amazing brushes! I have them for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love each and every one of them and I'm planning on getting a few more
when I visit America this summer

I am extremely sad. According to the news, the most famous polar bear in the world, born in Berlin Zoo had passed away. Knut was just 4 years old.
The reason of his death remains unknown. He was found dead today, floating in the water.

This news truly got my eyes teary...
*None of the videos is mine. They were all taken from YouTube and the whole credit goes to the artist - that is Michael Urbaniak.*
I generally tend to think that I have a really good taste in music - I'm never satisfied with what is played on the radio so I keep searching for new, experimental sounds. That is how I came across some of the really good artists I keep coming back to pretty
often... However... Every time I discover something like this I feel completely embarrassed for everything I have listened to so far.
The man who created these beautiful pieces of music was born and raised in Poland but his fame rose when he was performing in New York. Michael Urbaniak was one of the first musicians who created a fusion beetween classic jazz and hip hop - his music is perfect in each detail, inspiring and very, very atmospheric.
I don't even know how to describe it but listening to his music I can FEEL the spirit of New York and it makes me anticipate my trip there even more.
Enjoy!

This bronzer is just another part off my recent Signature Minerals order. It appeared a bit darker on the website so I was hoping it would be suitable for my skintone but eventhough I'm fair skinned this one is wayyy too light.
The website states that the bronzer is completely matte, however in real life it does have a subtle satiny sheen. Nothing extremal but still -
this is not a matte product.
I would describe the color as a really subtle, golden champagne, so light that it can barely count as a bronzer. It will definetely work for the "lightest of the lightest" skintones, it still wouldn't work for contouring purposes though but to give your skin a healthy flush, the "I caught a bit of sun today" type of look.
For me and my personal use this product turned out to be a miss but I thought I would let some of you fair skinned beauties know about this product :)
The name of this shade is "Gran Mariner Bronzer".

OK so you ladies might be surprised but I have never used OPI or China Glaze - China Glaze is not available in my country and OPI is but it's hard to find and extremely expensive here. Well, Orly isn't available either but there are the only nail polishes I never tried before that I bought during the last summer, when I was volunteering in America. This summer I will
definetely pick up some OPI and China Glaze after all those gorgeous colors I've seen on LUUUX!
Anyways this is my tiny ORLY collection. I really like these nail polishes I think you receive a really decent amount of the product for this price (as far as I remember beetween $5-$6). The colors are gorgeous - I wish I bought more :( I also like the brush - it's quite wide and makes the application quick and easy.
The minty green is definetely my favorite color - I was using it over and over during the summer! The dirty mauve one was my choice for autumn but I actually barely used it - I was crazy over nude nails last autumn :)
The yellow one was a huge disappointment though. I believe this one is called "Spark". Well this one applies unevenly and it chips like crazy - the quality is totally different from the other two Orly nail polishes I own! So I recommend to stay away from this one.
What do you think of Orly nail polishes?
