This is my collection of BB creams. I have a total of 5. Honestly, I could've stuck with one and waited until I finished but I got into the BB cream craze too fast and ended up buying a bunch. Here are the reviews for them!
------
Lioele (A): So far it is my favorite. It kind of has an herb-like smell but it isn't a bad smell. It just
isn't the usual powder-fresh scent that most foundations have. A tiny amount covers most of my face and I love how easy it is to blend out. It doesn't make my skin look dry or patchy so I really like it. It's best to use this in the fall/winter because you can feel it melting off with your sweat when it is hot.
Skin79 (B+): This is my second favorite BB cream. I really like it because it is a little darker than the Lioele BB cream. When you pump it out, it looks kind of gray... but it looks OK when I blend it out onto my face. I think this one is best used right between summer and winter. It melts off if you put it on during the summer but it's also kind of drying in my opinion...
Nana's B (B+): This used to be my favorite one before Lioele. It has EXTREMELY sheer coverage, but it mattifies your face so that it isn't shiny. It makes your complexion very even and fair because it takes away shine... however it will not get rid of any blemishes! This is great over the summer but not over the winter. It looks patchy when your skin is dry but it will stay put when you sweat!
Face Shop - I gave this one to my mom after using like 2 pumps... I don't remember enough to write a review on it! It smelled like the Lioele though :)
DR. JART+ - I haven't used this one yet... I'm waiting until I finish my other ones first :P
Guys and Gals :)
Howdy doos?
There is a nice Japanese restaurant 5 minutes from my house. On Tuesdays from 4:30PM to 6:30PM, they have ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI for $20!!! It's a great deal because it's the freshest sushi in my area (I live in the Chicago suburbs).
How much is sushi where you live?? Lemme know... because I heard its cheaper in New York and LA... is this true?

Hi Luuuxers :)
I know the new Essence lipsticks have been popular online since they were put out into American stores earlier this year. I ordered two from Essence... and one of the lipsticks I bought was Fifth Avenue.
PROS:
-the scent isn't plastic-y or artificial
-it's under $3!
-it's VERY moisturizing
-it's sheer and shimmery so it gives a light, lip-gloss
affect
-the cap stays put so it won't fall apart in your purse
CONS:
-it doesn't last...
OVERALL GRADE: A+
for the price, it's probably the best drugstore lipstick I've tried...
Hey Luuuxers :)
I met someone over the weekend that was friends with the founder of TOMS. I immediately went home and looked him up. There was an interview of him on Ellen's Youtube channel and I was intrigued with the idea of buying a shoe & giving a shoe. I've been very active with social service at my school and I love the idea of reaching out to people.
I was about to purchase a pair of
TOMS but then I realized it was October. I live in Chicago and every day for about 3 months.. all you see is snow. SNOW. SNOW. SNOW. I looked around the TOMS site and was pleasantly surprised to come across these: BOTAS.
They're thicker and they come up higher so EVEN THOUGH it won't keep snow out, it'll last me for the last month or so of fall and the middle of winter when the snow is all hard and frozen. They're $65 BUT, you're basically providing another pair of BOTAS to a stranger without shoes somewhere in the world. Isn't that amazing?
Would you buy a pair of TOMS shoes? If you have a pair of BOTAS, please give me any feedback on them!!!
This is ELF's Studio Eyeshadow in Charcoal. It is about $3 and it can get to $1 when ELF has their crazy sales on their website. This one is really pigmented, and although the quality of the shadow isn't as good as some higher-brand makeups it's pretty good!
I have black hair so I use it to fill in my eyebrows... only alittle does a lot so I really like it.
What do you guys think? Would you
buy it? What colors are similar to Charcoal?
Big celebrities like Mariah Carey and even every-day women devote entire rooms and spaces for shoes. To us, it seems like we can never have enough! However, is it reasonable to actually have an entire wall devoted to shoes? Ladies, think of your current income and home: IF TLC CAME AND OFFERED TO BUILD YOU A SHOE ROOM/WALL SOMEWHERE IN YOUR HOUSE FOR FREE, WOULD YOU LET THEM?? Why/why not?
I'm
really interested to know your thoughts :)
The new fall trend is to wear lacey and see-through tops. Women like to layer these shirts with neutral (black or nude) bandeaus. While last year might have been the cardigan, it is "in" to wear these tops without covering the back so the intricate patterns of the lace will be shown.
What do you guys think about this trend? Would you wear it?
I would wear it because I think it's classy yet a
little less conservative. It's classy AND sexy! You never get that!
NYX's Round Lipstick in Thalia is available online and at ULTA for $3.99 or less. The creamy constistency makes it moisturizing-- a definite A+! Although some cons include not lasting long enough and smelling a little perfumed the pros definitely outweigh Thalia because the color pay-off is AMAZING. The scent is also a lot nicer than most drug-store lipsticks.
Do you own any of NYX's Round
Lipsticks? In what shade? Tell me about your experiences!!!!
Aztec is one of many NARS eyeshadows. Check out the shades like Hipster and Faggot. The names are controversial but the designs are stunning.
Honestly, I don't know if I'd be able to use the shadows if I bought them. I'd just keep them to show to people or I'd frame it and hang it somewhere in my room.
What do you guys think you'd do? Would you pay big money for artsy eyeshadows?
Now that fall is approaching, it seems almost out of place to be wearing flashy and summery colors. Because fall usually means emphasizing the grays and browns... it can be hard to add POP to your outfits. Recently, the new trend has been adding polka-dots to spruce up a boring look. Whether the polka-dots are on a blouse, socks or shoes, it definitely gives a fun feel to the outfit. They're also
very classy!!!
