Cocktail~

Hey~ So i went out with hubby on Mar 18th for another St Patrick's Day event.. Actually we just chilled out at one of his outlets he oversees.. So im not a drinker.. i'm really lousy.. So when the manager asked me what i wanna drink i just asked him is there any cocktail he would recommend..? He went off and made this himself.. called Dark Myth.. its a combination of lychee juice, apple juice, vodka, and some others.. its really sweet.. i loved it.. But its still strong for me haha i could feel myself getting warm and flushed.. I dont often get the chance to have cocktails nowadays so i really enjoyed it that night!

Thick and Gooey Porridge!

Last night hubby and i attended a St Patrick's Day event at the Toucan Irish Pub.. He was there actually to work and oversee the Guiness gals there.. So before we reached we had dinner at the nearby food centre.. I had my favorite chicken porridge with egg.. This stall sells really thick and fantastic porridge.. they are pretty well known.. He also ordered the raw fish.. which i dint eat.. I only dare to eat like sashimi sushi etc but not this kinda raw fish.. ha.

Snacking on Sushi..

Hey guys.. Today i had quite alot of food! Morning i had toast.. for lunch i had vegetarian beehoon.. and hubby wanted us to cook minced beef pasta for dinner.. so he went to the supermarket after work to buy the beef and some ingredients.. and he came home with this packet of salmon sushi as well.. cos he was hungry.. well i had some too and it was pretty gd.. 16 pcs for abt $3.50.. We added more wasabi that we'd bought last time.. I love sushi!

Lunch today - Long John Silvers

I had this delicious lunch just.. 3 pcs chicken and fries from Long John Silvers.. My mom got some discount coupons for this meal.. U.P. $5.60 now $5.10.. lol only a few cents disc.. but it comes with a free lychee sherbet.. I had a taste of the sherbet & it was very nice.. really icy and refreshing.. lychee aint my fav tho.. so i let my mom have it.. Anyway for the past few times i ate this meal the chicken was really atrociously small & the fries little.. kinda disappointed with the change in standard when it used to be generously filled with lotsa fries crumbs etc.. But to my surprise today's was like the past! Alot of fries and crumbs and the chicken wasnt too small! It was a great meal!

Bak Kut Teh for Dinner~

Hello.. This was the dinner i had on the 11th.. It was a rainy day and we were in a mall deciding what to eat.. When i saw this chinese open concept restaurant in the food court.. they sell Bak Kut Teh which literally means Meat Bone Tea.. & its been awhile since i last had some! So i told hubby lets have this.. & i totally enjoyed it! Firstly we dint need wait long for the food to be served.. and hot soup with rice on a rainy cold day is the best.. So we ordered 2 bowls of premium pork ribs.. which cost slightly more than the other pork ribs option.. and i wanted salted veg as well.. & that was so gd.. cos they served it with added lard into the veg dish.. so it had that extra flavor.. Not that we ate the lard! No way.. & the pork ribs were soft and delicious.. I will eat there again!

Wanton Mee!

This was what i had for breakfast on the 12th.. A plate of wanton mee.. Its my favorite.. I think i have this like every weekend.. This one was bought by my brother.. And i'd been eating from this wanton mee stall since i was a small girl! The owner of the stall cooks it the nicest.. compared to his son cooking it.. U can tell the difference.. When the dad cooks it it is really oily and spicy and the color just looks alot more appetizing.. when his son prepares it it just looks pale and less spicy.. like a lite version like his skimping on the ingredients! Anywho I love their wanton & gravy & noodles..
