This is a Barry M Magnetic Nail polish. Barry M is a popular UK brand for cosmetics and nail polish that most you have probably heard about through YouTube videos. This is a navy blue shimmer color with a starburst magnetic design. If you aren't familiar with how to use these, it's really simple. The cap has a magnet with the starburst design on it. The one big plus about Barry M's magnetic nail
polishes is that the magnetic cap twists off the nail brush, so you don't have to hold the brush out and have wet nail polish dripping or drying while you are trying to achieve the magnetic effect. When looking for a good magnetic nail polish, I think the twist off cap is an important feature to look out for.
You paint your nails and while the paint is still wet, put the magnet over the nail, and the design will be created. I think for the Starburst one the design is really subtle on the nails, so it kind of just looks like you're wearing dark blue nail polish from far away, but up close you can see the starburst design. It's fun, but not something that is a must have.
Product Grade: C+

I purchased a new Burberry Handbag when I went to get that Burberry scarf for myself. This was my Christmas present to my sister. She's always wanted a Burberry handbag, but she's one of those people that always forgets to treat herself, so I had to get her one this year :)
It was originally $1000+, but I got it at the sale price of $895, and I thought that wasn't bad considering Burberry
never really goes on sale except if you shop at Nordstroms or Saks. My sister doesn't like things that are too branded, so I chose this black leather one because only the inside has the checkered print.
She seemed to love it and I hope to see her use it a lot ;)
If you have siblings, what did you guys exchange as gifts this year?

My friend works at a new sushi bar that opened up in our area, and eventually he's going to try and open up his own business. I am so proud of him :) I actually met this friend my first year of college when we lived in the dorms, and whenever we had parties this guy would make some pretty awesome sushi. Right now he's just trying to learn some tricks of the trade.
I went to visit him at work,
and he had some fun making us amazing delicious dragon rolls and salmon skin rolls. He made this PANDA SUSHI!! special just for me :) I really think it looks like a panda, and I almost didn't want to eat it. He told me there was a surprise inside, so I had to eat it. I shot a photo with Instagram to show it off on my Facebook and now on Luuux, then I ate it! Ah it was amazing! Inside the middle part he put this mix of chocolate and red bean, which might not sound delicious, but it was so good.
Isn't this super cute?

This is one of the most delicious desserts I have had in such a long time. I went to California Pizza Kitchen with my boyfriend and we managed to eat an entire pizza, but were still hungry afterwards. By "hungry", I mean fatties that had room for dessert :P
They just had the dessert menu just sitting there on the table with the picture of the Salted Caramel Pudding taunting us during our
entire meal. It comes in this awesome jar, which is kind of thing on Pinterest, where people make meals and put them in these jars.
What's in this is salted caramel pudding topped with whipped cream, caramel, and sprinkle of sea sat. At the bottom is crumbled cookie, that tastes like oreo cookies. It's just so delicious! You need to dig your entire spoon in and get all the layers, that's the proper way to eat this.
I highly recommend trying this if you visit the CPK! This is a holiday dessert, so it won't be on the menu after the holiday season. GET IT NOW!
Have you tried this dessert before? Love it or hate it?

These were gifts from a friend! It's Barry M's Magnetic Nail Polishes. One is a gold with diagonal stripes and another one is a navy blue with starburst design. I love the packaging for these because it shows you the design that you'll get. The cap with the magnet twists off, so you can easily create your magnetic design without drying out the nail brush. I have heard a lot of great things about
Barry M products, and it is a popular brand in the UK, but they don't sell them in the states, so this is a unique opportunity for me to try them.
I do like the concept of magnetic nail polish, but I've never owned any before, so that's another exciting part of this nail polish haul. I think it's a great way to have designs on your nails because you don't have to put in as much effort.
Do you know of any magnetic nail polish brands available in the US?

I am so excited for this new scarf I got from Burberry. I purchased this as a Christmas present for myself this year :) I think it's important to treat yourself sometimes! I know I am the type that tends to spend a lot of money on others just because I enjoy it, but the rest of my money I just save up for a rainy day. So when it comes to Christmas or my Birthday, I like to treat myself to
something I really want.
This is a Burberry scarf that I purchased on sale from Nordstrom. It's a cashmere scarf with their iconic checkered print, but with a small twist because the material is quilted. I really love the quilted look, and this scarf is just so soft and warm. I chose to get it in the white color because isn’t just beautiful! I originally wanted to get their classic camel iconic checkered print scarf, but I figure it would be nice to go with something that was a little different. Plus, this scarf was on sale, it was originally $395, but I got it for $250.
It does seem like a lot to spend on a scarf, but this is a classic staple made from quality material. It's not just a fashion scarf, it actually keeps me warm too. I've been wearing it ever since I got it, and I absolutely love it!
Are you a fan of Burberry scarves? Did you treat yourself to anything this Christmas?

Chevron Stripes Magnetic Nail Polish in Gunmetal!

This is a gunmetal gray magnetic nail polish. Magnetic polish become more popular earlier in 2012, but this was a nail trend that was more of a hype than a real trend that people got into. The concept of magnetic nail polish is interesting, but I assumed that after you try one, the curiosity is gone, and you won't use it as much.
I haven't tried them until now. This is a Magnetic Nail polish
from a drugstore in Australia. A friend brought some back, and we tried them all out. It's easy to do, you paint your nail, and before the polish dries, hold the magnetic cap over the wet nail. Then lift, and the chevron stripes will appear on the nail. The only thing I didn't like about this one is that the cap is attached to the brush, so you have to hold the wet brush upside down to use the magnet. After multiple uses, it could cause clumpiness to the nail polish.
Have you tried magnetic nail polish before?

I purchased some mochi for my family during a shopping trip over the holidays, so this is a long overdue post. I highly recommend Mochi Cream mochi because they have unique flavors and taste extremely fresh and delicious.
Flavors I Purchased:
2X Matcha Green Tea
2X Caramel Pudding
2X White Chocolate
I think the flavors do taste authentic to what they are, and the filling on the
inside is always so rich and creamy. These are great sweet treats to gift to family along with a nice tea set!
Have you tried mochi cream mochi before? If so, what are your favorite flavors?

I didn't know about brick toast until recently. I went to try a new milk tea place in our area, and saw these on the menu. I shared one of these with a few friends because believe me, it’s a lot for one person, and they should really describe that on the menu.
This brick toast as chocolate swirl cookies in it, oreo cookies, grapes, bread, oreo cookie ice cream, and whipped cream in it.
It's really interesting. So you can see everything that it's topped with. What the brick toast is is that it’s a hollowed out block of bread, and on the inside, it has these small toasted bricks of toast that they made with the hollowed out part. Along with that is the oreo ice cream, fruits, and other goodies. It's one big delicious treat, and comes in so many other flavors. They have green tea, strawberry, and some fruit flavors.
Have you tried brick toast before? Do you like it? What's your favorite flavor?
