When I went shopping with one of my besties this past week, I spotted this gorgeous dress right at the entrance of H&M and fell immediately in love! I grabbed one in my size and practically ran straight for the dressing room.
This is one of their newer dresses that is very much appropriate for the warmer weather. It is a maxi dress, which, being as short as I am, does NOT look good on me, but
if you are taller, definitely try this! It looked so beautiful on the rack (not so much on me though sorry!).
I just love how simple this dress is and the color is so relaxing and reminiscent of beautiful beach waters. And I love how the very front has a streak of a different shade of blue. It adds an extra fun pop of color.
Price: $39.95
I couldn't find it on their website, sorry!

My boyfriend's uncle was making sushi for dinner this past weekend. To keep all the kids' tummies from grumbling, he set up a bowl of shrimp cocktail for us.
He saw me taking the picture and thought I was silly because the presentation wasn't very good, but I thought it was adorable! I saw him setting up all the shrimp around the bowl and got super excited lol. I love shrimp cocktail. I
basically ate it all by myself. My boyfriend and his younger brother probably had one or two pieces.
If you've never eaten it, it's pretty simple because you just need to buy a bag of shrimp cocktail from your local supermarket. Usually they come in a bag with the shrimp already peeled and deveined. Or you can buy it in a try, in which the shrimp are already set up and it also comes with a cup of cocktail sauce. You only need to thaw it before eating. Or if you are impatient like me, you would run it under water....

I didn't necessarily need a new pair of black pumps, but I could not help myself. I felt that it was fate when I came across a pair in my size for such a good deal! It is rare for me to come by a pair of clearanced shoes in my actual size. It's gotta be fate, right?
This is the Merona Mari Mid Heel Pump at Target. The original price is $24.99. The clearance sticker discounted it all the way to
$7.48. But you know what, I got it even cheaper. :)
I used a coupon that was good for $3 off Merona Women's Apparel. The cashier was kind enough to allow it to be used on shoes because there were no restrictions on it stating that it excluded accessories or shoes, so it had to be accepted!
Hooray for a new pair of shoes for $4. This was the third pair of shoes I purchased in one week. I wasn't sure if my boyfriend would be happy about it but I got them all on sale, so how could he be upset?

Yes, I did happen to purchase a pair of Men's Pumas for myself, but believe me, it was a good deal! I saw this pair outside the Nordstrom Rack dressing rooms. It happened to be in the size 7 and under rack of the men's shoe department. I liked the color, so I decided to try it on. Lo and behold! It fit me! And it was an amazing deal.
The shoes were marked down to only $23! If you think about
it, that's a really good deal for Pumas. I don't technically need another pair of sneakers because I purchased a pair of Asics for the sole purpose of exercising, but they look so clunky and out of place on me. I figured these Pumas would look a bit more proportional and would make me feel less self conscious when I work out.
They were not in their original box, so I can't tell you for sure if they are even men's Pumas or if the staff at Nordstrom Rack accidentally put them there. There was no style name or anything on the shoes, so can't share that information with you either. The only thing I can tell you with certainty is the amount I paid and how much I love the red, white, and grayish-black color combination.

Who doesn't enjoy a nice hot bowl of noodle soup when the weather outside is absolutely horrid? I know I do. Well, in all honesty, I love a hot bowl of noodle soup any day, but it is especially good on a rainy day. So, I convinced my boyfriend to go out for some delicious pho.
I only like pho with meat balls, but since my local pho place doesn't have one with just meat balls, I had to get one
with sliced beef, too. I don't eat it usually, so I either give it to my boyfriend or box it up for my dog.
I don't think it's possible to mess up pho, so I've never had bad pho anywhere I've eaten it. I kind of prefer to keep it bland without any sauces or bean sprouts. I kind of enjoy the mild taste of the broth on its own. I mean, it's nothing bad without sauces, although I do love Hoisin sauce.

This is super belated because I bought this from Hautelook a while back. I had $10 credit that I have been saving for a very, very long time and I figured it was worth it to spend on an Urban Decay product.
I decided on the 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash because of the gorgeous purple and blue shades. The neutral shades I don't care too much for because they closely resemble two NARS shadow pencils
I already own, but the purple and blue pencils looked stunning.
The shades:
Delinquent (dark purple with bright purple sparkles)
Rehab (medium brown taupe)
Juju (frosted taupe with shimmers)
Sin (pinkish champagne with shimmers)
Clash (bright turquoise with silver sparkles)
With my $10 credit, I pretty much paid only $5 for the entire set, which is an awesome price for an Urban Decay set. That comes down to $1 a pencil. Whoo.
Will try to post up swatches another day; still haven't opened the set.

Ever wish your car was a musical instrument? If you have, or even if you haven't, Japan lets you do just that. A team from the Hokkaido Industrial Research Institute has built a number of "Melody Roads" in Japan, which uses the tires of your car to create music. Doesn't that sound fun?
The concept is simple. It is much like driving over little speed bumps, but instead of an unpleasant noise,
the grooves in the road are used to create musical notes. If you're not sure when you're driving over a melody road, don't worry! There will be musical notes painted on the road to indicate you are traveling on a melody road. So don't be scared when your car starts producing music that you may not be familiar with.
Apparently there was also one in California that had to be removed because residents complained that they heard it playing too often. I can see how it would be annoying, but for traveling tourists, it's a great experience! It would probably be best to place the melody road far away from residential areas. Like in a place that people have to specifically drive to to use the melody road versus a common stretch of highway. I mean, come on. Any song or melody played too often will get annoying. Like me, for instance, I'm sick and tired of hearing any Nicki Minaj songs. :p

Kim Kardashian, being the attention *bleep* that she is, will have her new beau, Kanye West, appear on her reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians despite making numerous claims that she would be keeping her romance off air. LIES, KIM. TOTAL AND COMPLETE LIES. You would think that after her entire relationship with Kris Humphries was aired in front of the entire world, she would have
learned a lesson. But nope, not Kim.
This really makes me question their relationship. I swear it's all for the publicity because it seems strange for them to be a couple. I've heard that their relationship is pure and all that from celebrity gossip shows, but I really question Kim's sincerity. I mean, given her track record, can you blame me?
What do you think about Kim and Kanye's relationship>

While my boyfriend and I were at Target looking for eye drops, we wandered into the luggage aisle and noticed that the end was all Hello Kitty travel-related items. There were neck pillows, luggage tags, make up bags, and of course, suit cases!
The one that really drew my eye was the smallest suitcase of all. I only liked it because it had a hard exterior, which will really help protect your
things. I was interested in getting it just because I will be moving home this year since I will be done with college and it will be best to utilize my carry-ons to carry more things home. BUT for $49.99, I couldn't do it.
The second suitcase is considerably larger and it is also $49.99, which makes it a much better deal. It isn't hard though, so you would have to wrap up your belongings very well. It's still cute.
And finally, the third one is a duffel bag. I'm always looking at duffel bags even though I got one from Forever 21 a while back. I think they're cute. Not too useful for me though because I lack arm strength. So this particular duffel bag was perfect because it comes with wheels and a handle! I did a size comparison with the duffel bag. This one is only $39.99.
I didn't end up getting any because I am trying to save money for a new MacBook. "Trying" being the operative word because I am still spending like crazy. lol. But if you are interested, just putting it out there. I actually know a family who will love this so I am definitely spreading the word.

It was laundry day. All my usual clothes were in the wash so I made a grab for a simple dress. It was also pretty warm out, so it was a good choice. I know it's super simple and nothing too special, but I hope you enjoy.
♥ Gray dress Target Xhilaration (no longer sold)
♥ Black leather fold-over bag with gold chain H&M
♥ Dark grey flip flops Old Navy
♥ Cream and gold bracelet
H&M
I actually lost that bracelet that day! I was trying on clothes at Nordstrom Rack and I took it off to put it on a hook, but when I left I totally forgot about it. I called the store the next day and was told no one turned in a bracelet. :c Luckily I received a call back thirty minutes later and was told my bracelet was there but an employee thought it was store merchandise so YAY.
