I love mascara. They're the one thing I need to transform boring sleepy eyes to bright and awake eyes. I received this mini version of the Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara so I figured, might as well do a review for you guys so you can see how well this thing performs. Because there's nothing I dislike more than really crappy mascara.
So you can see in the middle picture, that is my lashes with
nothing on them, just curled with my Shu Uemura eye lash curler. And then on the bottom picture is one side with mascara and one side without. You can definitely see a difference that mascara makes. This formula is on the drier side which I personally like. The reason why is because it drys quicker when it's on your lashes and it doesn't uncurl your lashes as much.
The mascara brush for this product is a really big brush which has its pros and cons. You can be the judge of whether its a good fit for your or not. This mascara provides a little extra length for my lashes, not too much. Doesn't do much for volume though. I like how it doesn't clump despite being a drier formula. It helps spread my lashes out like a fan rather than like the spidery lashes.
Overall, pretty good mascara for if you need to run out for a quick errand. It is Not waterproof though, so I would avoid this when its raining out.
Have any of you guys tried this mascara? How do you like it if you have?

You guys are probably mor familiar seeing the loofah in the bottom half of the picture. That loofah is for your body. We all know what a loofah does, and if you don't, it's suppose to help you remove dead skin from your body and clean your body so it is nice and clean and soft. I recently discovered the loofah on top which is for your face.
Basically the little one is a circle cut out of the
big one. Their really cheap, a few bucks will get you a pack of 4 at Ulta. And it's fun watching it expand in water. I think this thing is awesome because it really helps give my face a deep clean feeling. I have the rubber silicon scrubs for your face and those are pretty awesome too, but this loofah just gives a deeper clean feeling. If you want those bumps in your nose gone, during a hot shower, apply your regular face wash and scrub with this thing and your nose will be so smooth. Now I don't recommend using this envy day because it can be pretty harsh for the skin on your face. I would suggest using it once a week or every other two days.
Have any of you guys tried this kinda of face loofah before?

I love this matte top coat. Best investment ever! It instantly changes the look of nails with no effort at all. Well a little bit of effort, but that's not the point. If you saw my previous NOTD, you'll know that I had my nails painted red and gold to support my local sports team. I used Zoya Blair and Sally Hansen Time to Shine. Blair is the red color and Time to Shine is the gold color.
For
the matte look, I used the Matte top cost from Sephora by O.P.I. This top coat is about $9 which is very pricey. After I got this, I found out that E.L.F came out with one that's suppose to be decent. There is also a DIY version where you use clear polish and and corn starch. Not sure how that one works but definitely worth a try if you have the ingredients for that.
What do you guys think of the matte version of this red and gold nail look?

I think one of my more favorite mobile games is Cut the Rope. I know I like a game when I'm willing to pay for it. I have the paid version on my phone and on my iPad. It's really fun and addicting but it can get frustrating. If you like games that make you solve puzzles, then this is the game for you.
Basically in this game, the point is to get the piece of candy to the green thing, I believe
he's called Nom. The candy is tied to a piece of rope and you cut the rope to give him the candy. Simple enough right? Throughout the levels, there's different obstacles that get in your way of getting the piece if candy to Nom. You task is to not only get him the piece of candy, but to collect stars before he gets to eat the piece of candy.
If you're interested, there are free trial versions of this game. But let me warn you now, this game is addicting.
Have any of you guys played this game before? If you have, how do you like it?

I have been absolutely addicted to this game for the iPad. If you like fruit ninja, this makes the game that much better. The reason why I like this version compared to the original version is because of the challenges. There's 3 levels and then a final level. In the 3 levels, there are some challenge type games. Once you get to the last final level, you have to slice a piñata a bunch of times
to get more points. Also, you get 3 lives. The lives give you points at the end if you haven't used them.
It makes the game much more interesting compared to the regular Fruit Ninja. It does have the infinite version where you just slice fruit avoiding bombs and dropping all the fruits. That's fun, but I itching the different challenges are much more fun.
Have any of you guys played this version? If you have, how do you like it?

Another night of playing with my awesome Vice palette. Super simple eye look that makes brown eyes look awesome!
I have on my eyes, Chaos which is a matte cobalt blue color. And Black Market which is a shimmery black color. I do have a bone to pick with the color Chaos, maybe I'm applying it wrong, but it's terrible. When I apply it with a brush and try to blend it out a little bit, it just
fades away. Even if I try to pat it on, it just doesn't work and there are patches of skin that doesn't have we shadow sticking to it. Maybe it's the primer I'm using or something, but it's not working out. In order for me to get the blue that vibrant in the picture is, I had to pat on the color with my finger and had to carefully not blend/smudge the color away while doing it.
Anyone else have trouble with that color? Any tips to make certain colors and eye shadows stay on your lids when blending?

I hate now the light washes out the color of the eye shadows! But here's another eye look for you guys. Once again, I'm playing with my Vice Palette because, what else is more fun than to play with makeup on a Sunday night?
I have on my eyelid, Armor, which is a glitter dark silver color, it's not a super dark silver, but it's not a true silver color either. It's like a dirty silver if that
makes any sense at all. I also put that all over my lower lash line. Then I took Unhinged which is a gorgeous teal/turquoise color and focused that on the outer corner of my eye. To add more depth to my eye, I darkened the outer corner with Black Market. Then I lined my eyes as usual and curled my lashes and applied mascara. Cannot live without mascara. It sucks that the Unhinged color got washed out because it looks so pretty.
What do you guys think of this eyelook?

On my nails today are red and gold to support the 49ners who played in the playoffs today and are headed to the Super Bowl. Plus, red and gold is such a pretty combination. The colors I used are Zoya Blair and Sally Hansen Time to Shine. Blair is my favorite red nail polish. It's not a true, bright red, but a gorgeous red none the less. Time to Shine is a shimmery gold. It's a darker more taupe
kind of gold, but it will work.
Which team were you guys cheering for today? How do you guys like to support your local sports teams? And what do you guys think of this color combination?

I don't know if anyone else recently saw Wreck It Ralph but I am addicted to this game. If you saw the movie, then you'll know the movie was based off of characters from this game. If you haven't seen the movie, and you're way too young to know what this game is, then let me explain it to you here.
Fix-It Felix is a classic arcade game. The point of the game is the fix all the broken windows
of this building because Ralph keeps breaking the windows cause he's mad. It sounds simple, but it's not easy. You play as Felix, and as you're fixing the windows, Ralph is throwing bricks at you. You have to dodge them or else you lose a life. Also, the higher up you get, there will be birds flying at you, so you can die if you hit a bird. You get 3 lives, and there are 10 levels. I'll leave it to you guys to find out what happens when you win.
Have any of you guys played this game?

I love my neutral eye looks but I have a ton of palettes with colors too. So what I like to do once in a while is a neutral eye look with a pop of color on my lower lash line. It's super easy and you don't have to commit to a super colorful eye look.
In this eye look, I used the Urban Decay Vice palette. On my lids I have Laced. Then on my outer corners I have a combination of Desperation,
Rapture and Muse. And I used the brush that came with the palette which is a fantastic brush. Then I lined my eyes like usual on my upper lash line. Then on my lower lash line, I used the very tip of a regular eyeshadow brush, and picked up some Occupy and smudged that on my lower lash line, concentrating it on the out corner and stopping about 2/3 of the way in. Then I used a clean brush and applied Provocateur on the inner corner of the lower lash line. So, nice and simple on top, and fun and glittery on the bottom.
How do you guys like to incorporate colored eye shadows into your everyday look?
