This NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base is the BEST EVER that I have EVER in my whole entire life used! :D Ever since I started wearing makeup and playing with eyeshadow, it has always left creases on my eyelids because I have oily/combination skin. I have used the Urban Decay Eye Primer before but it's too liquidy for my eyelids so despite their good ratings on Sephora, I can't say it has worked
for me.
I was at the Sephora website looking at what other Givenchy eyeshadow palettes they had, and my eyes immediately zeroed in on this one...probably because of its vibrant and beautiful colors! I didn't see it in stores when I went last weekend....but here's to hoping that they have it this weekend when I go.
I absolutely LOOOVE eyeshadow palettes! To me, I would rather invest in an eyeshadow
palette and have the colors already picked out for me than buy a bunch of different separate eyeshadows and than mixing and blending them together to see if it works....I guess this just makes me lazy haha >.< I have a bunch of Dior, YSL, and Givenchy eyeshadow palettes and with they Givenchy brand, their eyeshadows in my opinion have a good staying power, and are pigmented enough. Sometimes I dip my eyeshadow brush into my contact solution to make the colors more vibrant, but depending on if you're going for a day or night-time look, these eyeshadows work amazingly well for whichever!
I have oily/combination skin, and before I used the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, ANY type/brand of eyeshadow I put on would always create a crease line. But ever since then with the NARS eyeshadow base and the Givenchy's eyeshadows the staying power for me is about 18 hours! I wake up at 6, go to work, and then school, and if I'm not too tired I go out to play afterwards until the wee hours of the morning ;) and I still don't see ANY crease lines Thank the Lord~!!!!
So anyways that's my two cents about Givenchy's eyeshadow palette. Has anyone tried it? Do you love it or hate it? Is it worth getting?
