Sephora Sale Haul #1

So the other day I was really just looking at sephora.com when I came across the sale section and I just had to pick up a few things. I also picked up a mini from the sites beauty mini section. April Birch Box Review

You may be wondering why the picture of this review isn’t a picture of the box I received right? Well long story short I never got my box =( So this is going to be a review of Birch Box the company as a whole. I must first say that I do live in Hawaii so I order online quite a lot. Secondly there is a belief that shipping takes exponentially longer but that is false. If a package is shipped from California it will usually takes 2-3 days. A package sent to me from New York will usually take 3-4 days. It has now been nearly a month since I received an email saying that my box had been shipped. The first snag I ran it to was the fact that according to USPS.COM they did not receive the box until April 16th which is a full week after BIRCHBOX said they had shipped the box to me. I really tried to remain patient, but I placed 3 calls to BIRCHBOX all of which went to an answering machine. It is somewhat discouraging that I could not get an actual person on the phone; or the promised call back that the answering message says. The last two calls where to actually cancel my subscription. I really expected a call back some kind of personal interaction; something. But what did I get back? A mass mailing, fill in the blank email! So I sent an email to them hoping that they keep up with emails better than they do phone messages. I have yet to hear back from them, even when I sent the email with delivery confirmation and a receipt for when the message is read. I got both back and no response which is very telling of the company. I firmly believe customer service is something that should never be neglected especially not in these tight economic times. Consumers are very conscience of what we choose to spend on and bad customer service is not acceptable in my opinion. I really wanted to like BIRCHBOX because I do think it’s a great concept! But I fear I will not re-new my subscription with them. I can take my monthly subscription to one of the many other sample programs. I will wait until the end of the week and if the problem is not resolved I’ll chalk it up to a lesson learned!

CVS Mini Haul- 99 cent Eye Shadow Palettes

This is a mini haul I did at CVS: It all cost less than $20.00! Naileen Gel Kit- This is a DIY nail get like the acrylic ones that you see, but this is a self leveling gel kit. It was $9.00 and has enough supplies to do 2 full sets. Which is alot cheaper than a full set in a salon. Jordana Glitter Rocks- Lip Pencil in Rockabilly Brown for $0.75 this is a great buy Jordana Lip Gloss- Lady like, I saw this creamy pink color and thought of Turkish delight by NARS. It's not a dupe but for 1.99 it's a pretty color and great quality. 3 Eye Shadow Palettes- Colour Me Glow there are 8 different palettes in this collection. I got four of them and they are $0.99 each. ~please note these photos belong to me~

This is another small BACK 2 MAC haul I did. I only have a counter near me so I only get lip sticks. But her free MAC is still free right? Hard Candy Product Review- Fox in a Box Truth or Dare

I purchased this product with my own money && this review is my 100% honest opinion Packaging: Fox in a box is very similar to benefits blushes in regards to packaging. The box is cute, but a little flimsy feeling. The included brush is soft but doesn't apply color very well. The blush its self: The colors look very pretty in the container a true pink and a golden brown. The brown color is the better of the two shades. Color payoff is an issue with this product. Both swatch very light with little color. The brown is soft and silky feels nice on the skin. The pink color is a bit chalky for me and almost doesn't show up. This would be a better hi-lighter rather than a blush. Over all: I do not like this product; I plan on returning it to Wal Mart. However, I would try another color of Fox in a Box; because overall it is a good but for the price. Hit or Miss Kims look? I usually love Kim & all her fashion decisions! But I say it's a miss! The super white face and long black tresses reminds me of mortisha from the Adams family? It's a bit to goth or vamp for Kim I believe? What do you dolls think?
