My wife and I watched Real Steel starring Hugh Jackman earlier tonight. I thought it was a really good movie. Set in the not so distant future, Hugh Jackman plays an ex-boxer in a time where robots have replaced humans in the sport. He is a struggling promoter that pits robots against other robots in matches for money. He discovers he has an eleven year old son and takes him on trips with him to
these fights. His son finds an old model of a sparring robot, and they give this underdog a chance at the boxing championship title.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and recommend it if you have not yet seen it.

So I watched an older movie that was released in 1992 called Sneakers. It is a comedy/drama/thriller starring Robert Redford, Dan Aykroyd, and Ben Kingsley. It was about this team that gets hired by the government to steal a code breaking device from some scientist, but things go way wrong, and they find themselves on the wrong side of the law.
It was a pretty good movie for an older one.
Have
you seen this movie?

So I finally watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. It is over. I finished the series.
SPOILERS BELOW
The battle at the end was pretty cool during the whole assault on Hogwarts. I did think that the fight between Harry and Lord Voldemort was kind of anti-climatic though. I think that Harry's resurrection could have been done better.
END SPOILERS
Overall, a good movie, but I
think I like part 1 better. Well, it has been a great ride watching these movies. Too bad it's over now.

So I just watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. It was a great movie. I think I like this one the best so far. Sadly, I am almost finished with the series.
Harry and his friends are searching for the Horcruxes (items in which Lord Voldemort stored parts of his soul in to be immortal) so they can destroy them. Harry also discovers the existence of the Deathly Hollows, three
items: the invisibility cloak which he already has, a resurrection stone, and the most powerful wand ever.
It was a great movie, and I can't wait to watch Part 2. It sucks though that it will be over after that.

So I just watched this action movie called Takers starring Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen, Chris Brown, and Matt Dillon. It is about group of bank robbers that find their plan to steal millions interrupted by a determined detective.
It got only a 5.9 rating on imdb.com, but I thought it was a really good movie. It has plenty of action thrown in with some drama.
Overall, a great movie, and I
recommend you watch it if you have not yet.

Ok. I finished watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Well, I have to say...
I love these movies! I am so bummed that I am almost done with them. I only have two left and then, no more Harry Potter. One thing that I think is kind of funny about each of these movies is that the teacher for Defense against the Dark Arts is always the one to get replaced. It is like well, I know something
is going to happen by the end of the movie that will cause someone else to teach that subject in the next movie. Lol. Nevertheless, these are still great.
Now I just have Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 & Part 2. Then I'm finished with the series. =[

Heroes was a great tv series. It aired on NBC in 2006 and ran for four seasons. NBC cancelled the show in 2010, leaving the story unresolved. The creator, Tim Kring did say that the broad premise of the storylines allowed for Heroes to someday return for the fans, but he did not state when or in what format.
I loved this show. Season three was the best in my opinion. Season four was good, but I
found the finale lacking. The whole season, they are building up to the confrontation with Samuel, but when it finally gets to the end the fight was short and somewhat anti-climatic. It was still a great show though. And I do hope that it can somehow return, whether it be a movie or mini-series.
Did you watch Heroes? What was your favorite season?

I just finished watching a movie called Suspect Zero starring Aaron Eckhart, Ben Kingsley, and Carrie-Anne Moss. It is a crime/thriller about two FBI agents, Aaron Eckhart and Carrie-Anne Moss, that are tracking a serial killer, Ben Kingsley, that leaves a mysterious circle with a line through it on all his victims. The killer seems to be playing with Eckhart's character by way of faxing missing
persons papers to him all the time.
It was a pretty good thriller, and I recommend you check it out if you have not yet seen it.

So I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was great! Sucks that people were not wanting to believe Harry Potter that Lord Voldemort was back. That Dolores Umbridge was annoying. I definitely would've wanted the students to all gang up and use magic on her. It was pretty cool that they started training in that secret room though.
I am really liking this series. Only 3 more to go.
Next I'm going to be watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

I just finished watching a tv movie called Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe. It is a prequel to the tv series Burn Notice. It tells the story of Sam Axe, Bruce Campbell's character on Burn Notice, and his last mission a commander in the U.S. Navy.
Now of course with it starring Bruce Campbell as the lead, there is more comedy in this than in the tv show Burn Notice. It still has a fair share of
action and drama though. It's a good movie that gives more incite into the military past of Sam Axe.
I recommend this if you are either a fan of Burn Notice or of Bruce Campbell.
Have you seen this tv movie? What did you think?
