Kokola is a small cafe that I have been going to ever since I was a young teenager. It was very popular back then until many other cafes started to open up. I still like going there to eat, even though portions have gotten smaller and prices has gone up, but there is many memories there so I go back once in awhile. The food still tastes pretty good and the service is still good, and the manager
there is still a lovely lady.
One of the things my friend and I ordered is the Honey Sausages which is a delicious appetizer. I love how the honey is spreaded on the sausages which gives it a great taste. Second, we order the Bacon Cheese Fries which is new on the menu. It doesn't taste as good ones I tasted at Nathans but they are still pretty decent. Lastly, this is the dish one of my girls order, I forgot what it is called but it basically some type of chicken over rice. It tasted pretty good as well since I took a bite of her chicken. I forgot to take a picture of my own meal LOL!
What did you have for dinner?
Is there a restaurant you go to ever since you were young?

I am always on the outlook for a very good mascara. I did find one that I love but that doesn't stop me from exploring other mascaras that the drugstores has to offer. When it comes to high end brands and drugstore brand, I always prefer drugstore brand mascaras because they are more affordable and that sometimes the high end ones don't always meets my needs. Sorry that I didn't include before
and after photos of this mascara, but here is a review for you all.
PROS:
- It does give my lashes volume and a little bit of length at the same time.
- It does not clump for me. To apply a second coat, I apply it before the first coat dries.
- The consistency is pretty good to work with, not too wet and not too thick & dry.
- The bristles are fine enough to cover most of the lashes
- Reasonable price.
- Easily accessible at your local drugstore
- Comes in waterproof formula as well.
50/50:
- It has this odd scent to it that bothers me. Not sure if it's just me but it might not be something that will bother others.
CONS:
- I just wish the wand would have been more easier for me to use at the corners of my eyes.
Well this is my review for this mascara. Keep in mind that just because this mascara works for me it might not work for you. All mascaras works differently for every individual.
Have you tried this mascara before? If yes, did you like or dislike it? If no, would you purchase this to try?

Besides sushi, which is one my favorite food that I can never get tired of, I can never get tired of dim sum either. Dim Sum is a classic tradition for Chinese families to enjoy because there is such a variety of food to choose from. I usually prefer eating dim sum at the restaurant with a lot of people because I get to eat a little bit of everything but if I don't, I usually get dim sum for
takeout. Takeout isn't as great because I usually just get one or two dishes so I can finish and not waste.
One of the dishes that I got is "Turnip Cake" and it is served with oyster sauce. I love it because I am a huge fan of turnips and I love how on the outside it's a little crispy.
The other thing I got is non-spicy pepper on the outside with shrimp/crab type of meat on the inside. It is really tasty and is something I love to eat because of the meat inside.
Have you ever tried Dim Sum?
What is your favorite dish to eat when you go dim sum?

Essie "Play Date" is from Essie's Go Overboard Collection. This is such a flattering and pretty purple. It is a creme polish and has a nice clean finish to it that is really appealing to the eyes. It isn't too dark or too light and still great to wear for the Spring/Summer. It has a slight pink undertone to it and I love how it looks against my skintone. The application was easy and two coats is
enough for it be opaque.
I really enjoy this color from this collection. I am glad I picked it up because I love how it looks. It's such a beautiful shade.
What's On My Nails:
- 1 coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Base Coat
- 2 coats of Essie Play Date
- 1 coat of INM Out the Door Top Coat
What do you think of Essie "Play Date"? Is it a shade you will wear?
Do you own this nail polish? Or plan on getting it?

A long time ago when a new line of cosmetics called Nuance hit the CVS stores I knew I just had to get my hands on some of the products to try. One of the many products I picked up was this duo eyeshadow in Midnight Blue & Silver Steel. I actually promised a review on their eyeshadows a long time ago when I created a look with this eyeshadow duo but I kept forgetting and was being lazy. If you
didn't see the look that I created with this, you can do so by Clicking Here.
Midnight Blue is a deep navy blue with a lighter shimmery blue in it.
Silver Steel is a very pigmented and opaque metallic silver.
PROS:
- The pigmentation in this duo WOW me. I was shocked at how pigmented it turned out to be.
- Little fall outs (I considered it as a pro because it is a drugstore product)
- The shadows are blendable and soft.
- Can use dry or wet.
- Has a nice variety of shades to choose from.
- It is part of their permanent line which you can find at your local CVS
CONS:
- Price. I don't remember the exact price for it but I know it is pretty pricey for only two shadows.
I really enjoyed using this duo, the colors came out beautifully and vibrant. My experience with this duo is very good but then another one I have tried was on the "eh" side which I will do a review on as well.
What do you think of these two eyeshadows?
Have you tried any cosmetics from Nuance yet?

I am always on the outlook for a good pencil eyeliner because I never really found one that works the way I want. The one that I was most pleased with is the Milani Liquif'eye ones but I still like to try something new. When I first saw these new eyeliners being released by Maybelline I decided to pick it up to try. Here will be a review on the Maybelline Master Drama Eyeliner in "Sapphire
Strength".
The product claims on the packaging that it is a creamy glide bold color that lasts up to 24 hours.
PROS:
- I do love how the color of the cap matches the shade it is on the inside.
- There is a nice variety of shades to choose from and the one I have is a blue with a hint of shimmer.
- They do wear well for the 6-8 hours I am outside on a day of normal weather that isn't too hot.
- Easily accessible
50/50:
- Price, they range about $5-7 depending on your area and local drugstore.
- Lacks pigmentation
CONS:
- Retractable? Not! For some odd reason, once you twist it up it doesn't go back down...
- Since it is retractable, it is hard to create thin lines with this eyeliner because it has no sharpener and will be harder to be sharpened.
- They do not glide on my eyelids and isn't as creamy as it claims. It tugs on my eyelids and having dry lids these doesn't work too well for me.
Overall, I don't think I will purchase these but then they do wear well and if you are looking for something that isn't too expensive and will wear well for a few hours, you can look into these.
Have you tried these Maybelline eyeliner? If yes, what are your thoughts on them? If no, do you think it's something you will plan on getting?

Being lazy really does get to me, especially when it comes to food. I know frozen food isn't the most healthiest but it saves a lot of time in preparing and making food when I can easily pop it into the microwave. I usually get the brand Banquet because they cost 10 for $10 which is cheap so my younger brother restocks them quite often.
I forgot which one is this exactly but as youcan see in
the photo, there is chicken nuggets, mac n' cheese and corn. I love to eat the chicken nuggests since they usually taste the best. I added some ketchup with it. I usually don't eat the mac n' cheese since I am usually not a fan of it and the corn I just ate a bit of it. I finished it super quick and it filled me up for a good 2 hours or so but I got hungry all over again.
What did you eat for lunch today?
Do you usually eat frozen food when you get too lazy to cook?

LOL, you guys are probably so sick of seeing my breakfast posts containing of Dim Sum since that is basically like all I eat for breakfast majority of the time. I eat Dim Sum a lot because of the neighborhood I live in, it is most famous for eating Dim Sum and I am always wanting to eat something from that menu since the menu for Dim Sum can be such a long list.
Stuffed Pepper with Shrimp is
so tasty. I am not sure what else is stuffed in there but it tastes good. The pepper can come in spicy and not spicy, both just as tasty.
Beef... Something (LOL) is a dish that contains different type of beef in it. I think that is what it is. It also contains some type of carrot which I really really love.
I had a very good breakfast. Not a big breakfast meal but it is still filling for me.
What did you have for breakfast today?
Have you tried these before on the Dim Sum menu before?

My birthday was about a week ago and the following Monday I received something from UPS. I don't remember ordering anything online so I was kind of shocked and confused on what it could have been. The box that it arrived it was HUGE and I look at where the sender was from and when I saw Marc Jacobs I knew my best friend had ordered me the bag I have been eyeing for awhile now. I just couldn't
believe it that my best friend got such a wonderful and expensive gift =O I was extremely touched.
This is the Classic Q- Natasha Bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs. It is a leather textured bag and that is worn crossbody and it it a flap closure. Near the flap there is a zip-pocket where I can also put items into. It is a medium size bag and she got it for me in black. I am glad I received it in black because it can be easily matched with anything.
This bag retails for about $368.00 which is beyond a price range I will want a gift to be for me. My best friend told me "You only turn 21 once girl.". I am extremely thankful to have known her for over 10 years now, thank you for such a great gift B!
About a week ago, it was my birthday and one of my girls got me this as a birthday gift. I really needed something for my eyes because for some odd reasons, I was getting rashes and dried spots near my eyes which isn't pleasant. Good timing that she got me this because it is just what I need for my eyes currently.
On Sephora it says...
What it is:
A moisturizing eye treatment that helps
minimize the look of dark circles, shadows, and puffiness.
What it is formulated to do:
This brightening eye cream works instantly and over time to diminish the look of undereye circles, shadows, and fine lines. Its botanical ingredients depuff and calm the eye area. It also boosts natural collagen production while strengthening skin's moisture barrier against common irritants.
I really hope it will hydrate my eye area the most. Even if it doesn't help me reduce circles and stuff. It retails for almost $50 USD which is on the pricier side but I am thankful my friend got me such a nice gift =)
Have you ever tried this product before? If yes, what is your thought on it?
