Health & Beauty » Swatched: L'Oreal Le Balm, "Nourishing Nude"

Hi everyone! Here is another swatch post of a L'Oreal Colour Riche Le Balm products. This is the shade "Nourishing Nude."

To see the other shades I swatched, click the links below:
- Caramel Comfort
- Caring Coral
- Rose Elixir

♦Price & Availability♦
- $7 to $9 depending on the place
- Available wherever L'Oreal products are sold

♦Shade & Finish♦
- "Nourishing Nude" is a sheer nude brown
- It's glossy, but not shimmery

♦Packaging♦
- Very chic square packaging
- Translucent cap shade indicates what shade the product is
- Bottom is gold plastic
- Lock and key closure (picture #6)

♦Scent♦
- I think it has a light floral scent

♦Pros♦
- Widely available/easily accessible
- Very moisturizing
- All the shades in the range are wearable
- Packaging is very sleek

♦Neutrals♦
- Amount of product versus price
- Bottom of packaging is hard to grip
- Only one way to close the product because of the lock and key closure

♦Cons♦
- Color is VERY sheer - I didn't even post lip swatches because you could barely tell there was any difference between shades

♦Overall♦
I bought five of the eight shades available and returned all of them because the color was just so sheer for all the shades. These were released around the same time as the Revlon Lip Butters, so of course they invite comparison but these do not compare at all. The L'Oreal version is just a sheer, expensive chapstick while the Revlon ones are extremely pigmented and not as moisturizing.

Choi ❤: layering did help, but since the product is designed to be sheer, there's really only so much building you can do and by then a good portion of the product is gone. x.x

I like the packaging of these, they do remind me of the lip butters. Have you tried layering them on to see if the pigmentation will get better? Sometimes I do feel some loreal products are overpriced.

I haven't tried this but I just don't think its worth it to spend that much on a drugstore lip balm when there were comparable ones, if not better ones out there.

I really like this lipstick in caramel comfort but I agree that it's not that great. It's very moisturizing but very sheer. It takes a lot of building up. I love the shade and packaging but I wouldn't repurchase

I like sheer if it says sheer. I don't want to pay pigmented prices for sheer colors.
