For me its all about nails for summer, i love all the bright beautiful colours i can wear and also the cute and wild designs that have come out this summer. Dont get me wrong i love wearing make-up but for summer i keep make-up bare, i dont wear i lot, so thats why i love playing up my nails. Am going to share with you some of my tips and tricks for nails and also, products i use, were i get them from, what hand/foot treatments i use, so lets get started.
First before you apply your colour or create your design you need to have prepare your nails, you dont have to go to the salon you can do this all at home, just follow these steps:
Remove any old nail polish ( i love the sally hassen one)
File your nails in one direction only, dont use the seesaw motion because this can damage your nails
Soak your hands in warm water for 10 or 15 minutes
After you have dryed you hands, Push back cuticles with some cuticles pushes or an orange stick
Cut at excess cuticle off, but DONT cut a lot of just a little bit
After thats apply and cuticle/hand cream or oil and massage that in. ( i like you use almond oil)
OK so now that we have are nails prepared, its on to choosing your colour or creating your design. Before doing any of this you must use a base coat, here are of some my favourite polishes and what i like use when creating my nail design:
Base coat:
Sally Hansen Insta Grip Fast Dry Base Coat - www.boots.com
Top coat:
Seche vite- http://www.asos.com/Seche/Seche-Vite--Dry-Fast-Coat/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx...

Nail gems- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nail-Art-Gems-Colour-
Rhinestones/dp/B002LHTPTM/ref=pd_sim_beauty_5
Glittler - Craft store
Nail tranfers/stickers/templates- i love the sally hansen ones, they are the same has the OPI ones but cheaper, i get then from sallys
So there are all the prodcuts and tools i use to create gorgeous nails with. Now on to treatments, i like to do this once or twice a week.
Hands/feet:
To exfoliate, i use brown sugar and olive oil, rub them all over me hands, then wash of.
I also i like use a paffin wax treatment, all you do is heat the wax up, let it cool, apply to your hand and it will harden like a glove around your hands, its pretty cool watching it form into your hands :) (you can do the same to your feet)
Also at night apply a thick hand cream, i like to use coconut cream, on your hands and pop some gloves on, and in the morning your hands will be soooo soft.
You can all buy hand and foot treaments, i love the ones by Montagne Jeunesse
You also need a good pumice foot stone, i just get one the my local drug store
And that is pretty much what i do :)
