I have an awesome dupe for everyone! I wish I could take credit for this discovery, but I can't. A few days ago I posted my eyeshadow collection, and 2 lovely Luuuxers mentioned how Urban Decays Summer of Love palette had a dupe in Wet n Wild's Dancing in the Clouds trio. Mind you I kept thinking why would they mention that? Then I noticed ohhh! I have both palettes, that makes sense! Lol.
Last night I went and decided to give it a look, and Wet n Wild is in fact a dupe for Urban Decay's Summer of Love. Wet n Wild is the dupe being that it came out months later. Obviously Urban Decay has 4 shades, while Wet n Wild has 3, but thats ok. Its a very good dupe!
Overall Urban Decay has the better quality because all 3 shadows are pigmented and pick up color easily. In the Wet n Wild trio the purple shade is really hard to pick up. It took me SEVERAL (as in more than 3) swatches to get it equivalent and noticable. The other 2 were great, consistant with what makes WnW great. In the swatches UD is on the left, WnW is on my inner arm, underneath. Price wise, it goes to Wet n Wild which is $2.99 even less given that they often have sales. Thing is trying to find it, as the palette is a limited edition. Urban Decay's palette goes for $29, on occasion $19 when on sale if it can be found.

its great that these colors are pretty much EXACTLY like the urban decay ones because the purple in the wet n wild set is awful x.x

wow i never even would have thought that the wnw palette could dupe the ud one! i already have the ud one so i'll skip on the wnw trio but that's good for people who wanted this palette but didn't get it!

Good to know! The colors match pretty closely so I wouldn't mind adding the WNW trio to my collection. For that price, I really don't mind that the purple is less pigmented. I'll just apply more to build the color.
Great post. I wish the purple in dancing in the cloud works. Do you think applying it wet will help. I picked it up a couple of weeks ago but have yet to try it.
They are definitely similar. This is such a great dupe for the urban decay palette.

Bklyn Queen: I've tried the Walgreens & CVS stores around me. I haven't gone to Rite Aid because the nearest one is about 45-50 minutes away... and I'd spend the trio price in gas, lol! I'm going to look when I go out, still, but I have a feeling I'll be ordering

wow these are definitely perfect dupes! i would expect ud to be the more pigmented obviously, but still for so cheap that wnw palette looks great even if a few swatches is needed for the purple

They seem like exact dupes! It sucks the pigmentation is lacking on the purple shade - that's the prettiest in the trio!!
These really do look almost exactly alike. It's been so frustrating trying to find anything from the Dream Weavers collection that it would be worth it for me to by the UD palette at this point. The only place I found the display for the collection was completely wiped out. I never get lucky finding LE WnW stuff. Major sad face on that one...cry me a river...lol.

I was going to post comparisons of these shades as well. I actually bought the Wet n Wild trio because I already have the Urban Decay ones and I love the colors, but I don't like the glitter. I actually prefer the WnW ones, except for the purple. I prefer UD Flash.
