I'm so bored with my hair color and hair style. I have never dyed my hair before and to be honest I'm scared to. My hair is already sort of dry so I don't want to completely kill it by dying it or anything. And I'm not even sure what color I would dye it or what would look good on me. It's tough. Then I thought of changing my hair style or something but nothing else will look good on me lol because I really want to keep my long hair. Ughhhh I'll probably just end up adding henna to my hair which will give it a reddish tint.

Don't dye it! You'll just regret it! Trust me.
I dye mine aburn brown and I love this color...its readdish but not too extreme
i wanna go black haired
i feel you, i could get it done for free since my aunt owns a salon but i just don't know what color. i think i'm just going to do really thin hilights that are one or two shades lighter than my nautural hair color to give it some demension, and dye it like one solid color because my natural hair color has a red tint to it which i hate!
ah i know how you feel
i have a post about conditioning hair and things (i'm not trying to pinp it for comments... it's just too much to type again. lol) i used to dye my hair every other month in high school and have been EVERY color. literally. from about a level 9 maybe, to a level 3 (blonde to black) and my hair is in great condition. as long as you always use conditioner and deep condition it, you'll be fine. trying to limit blow drying is a help too. i just did mine again after not doing it for a few years and it's fine. remember, it's just hair. it will always grow back. and you can always dye it back.
Coloring your hair won't "kill" it. Trust me! I've had my hair chemically treated several times and I still dye it and it's fine. Picking a color is hard, but even if you go with a boxed dye and do it yourself, you'll find that your hair is a lot shinier and smoother once you color it.
GO BLUE LIKE KATY PERRY
i would say do it first professionally spend the extra cash then after you find out what color you like do it on your own. just make sure to check with your stylist before dying your own what ingredients should be in the dye
oh god I'm so tired of my hair color!! I wanted to get it just a shade or two lighter, but it never looks the way I want
