I hauled this eyeshadow palette sometime ago and somehow it got lost in my makeup collection. Well, I rediscovered it last week and have been using it almost daily since then. This is Rimmel Londons "Thrill Seeker" min eyeshadow palette. I bought this discounted for $1.39 at Grocery Outlet. I dont know about you guys but sometimes i let sales/clearances get the best of me-i'll see something on sale and automatically add it to my cart because its alot cheaper then the original price..its a bad habbit! Alot of the time i'll pick certain items up..look at them without giving any thought and put them in my cart. Thats exactly what i did with this palette.
After i got home i looked at the colors more closely and thought to myself how i really wasnt a fan of the 4 shades of colors. This palette has a deep dark green, yellow (not to be mistaken for gold), light gray, and a dark gunmetal gray.
I live in Oregon and one of the college football teams colors are green and yellow..so, while i wasnt too excited about the colors offered in this palette i figured i could maybe use those 2 shades during football season.
I found that all of these eyeshadows (except for the dark green) werent very pigmented and a bit powdery. Not too powdery but i didnt notice fall out when applying the eyeshadows. The darker gray wasnt too bad but i did have to swatch it at least 3 times to get it to look fully show up..as well as the others. The deep forrest green is the one eyeshadow in this palette that stood out. Its extremely pigmented, not powdery and has no fallout. I find it strange that all 3 of the other shadows wernt great but this one is awesome...i've noticed the same thing in other eyeshadow palettes i own as well-some are great and others arent. Weird.
Anyhow, beings how cheap this palette was i dont feel like i wasted alot of money on it but i am glad that i did not pay full price for this. This is actually the only rimmel london eyeshadow(s) i own. After having this palette im not really sure if i would buy any more of their eyeshadows.
Do you own "Trill Seeker"? If so, do you like it or hate it? Have you had the same results with Rimmel London eyeshadows that i have?
Thanks for reading!

nice quad
lovely colors
Their shadows are a hit and miss for me, some are good and then some just aren't.
The green *is* pretty. It sucks the other three aren't up to par. But, as you said.. at least you didn't pay full price for it.
i like that yellow it would make a great high light
fanta
the green color is gorgeous! but i don't think i would purchase it for just that color. i haven't tired their eyeshadows but thanks for your review.
i don't think the colours in this palette go well together. i wouldn't purchase it.
I haven't tried any of their shadows but I do love the lipsticks and a few other products
nice
I haven't tried their new eyeshadows yet but they look more pigmented than their old ones. LOL I am the same as you when it comes to sales and clearances. Whenever I see something that is $2 and under, I just automatically add it to my basket. I know how you feel. Its a good thing that you found out a way to still get some use out of it for football season.
I heard one bad review from a blogger I trust, so I just never bothered trying them. Sounds like they're not that great : /
The green one looks like a very nice color, but I don't think I can pull off eyeshadow. lol But at least you did't pay full price for this.
Good you never paid full price with that kind of pigmentation. They're not usually colours I'd wear either but you're not at a big loss which is good :)
For some reason, the color combination in this palette is reminding me of a high end brand's quad. Amazing that you got it for less than $2.00! Woot woot for clearance sections!!
Nice palette!
they look very nice. the yellow maybe not. i see why you are kinda disappointed.
i haven't tried these shadows before but i like that green!
Very Pretty! :)
