Instead of doing my essay on how Machiavelli, Locke, and Marx perceived human nature, I decided to paint my nails :]. Totally the smartest decision huh! Lol jk, I'm a horrible student. Anyways, I wanted to try out one of my new polishes and though they was the perfect time. I chose O.P.I's Give Me A Coral Sometime since I wanted something coral.
I picked this up in the clearance section at ULTA for $5. It looks like an opaque color from the bottle, but it's actually pretty sheer. The second picture is with 1 coat. As you can see, it's very sheer. The third picture is with 3 coats and it's finally opaque. Three coats isn't that bad since it is a pretty thin polish. Unfortunately, it wasn't really that coral, more of a pink-ish red. Oh well, it's still a pretty color and I'm extremely happy with the outcome!
I used:
1 coat of O.P.I Natural Base Coat
3 coats of O.P.I Give Me A Coral Sometime
1 coat of Seche Vite Top coat
Although I didn't get my coral polish, I'm still happy with the outcome. It's still a pretty color and has tiny little glitters in it which isn't very noticeable unless my fingers are right in your face. It's not a very winter-y color but I really don't paint my nails based on the season. It's the perfect color for the spring and summer! So what do you think of the color? Is it something you would wear?

I remember writing essays on that ughh haha bad memories haha. I'm surprised you had to do 3 coats to achieve that color. Usually I'm good with 2 coats with OPI polishes or any polishes.
