On Saturday while I was stopped off picking up some work out clothes, I HAD to swing through the beauty department. I had heard through a couple YouTube Videos and a beauty blog that L'Oreal had come out with some new lipsticks and were getting good reviews.
I found where they were placed (smack in the middle of all of their older products) but had already been picked over. It always surprises me when new products are already picked over because I live in what I'd consider a smaller town and I like to think I tend to be pretty on top of new products... so to find that several people beat me to a display shocks me. :-P Normally, the displays are full when I get to them. Well, there were darker colors that were pretty much left untouched and only a few lighter/brighter colors. I picked up two that appealed to me.
I grabbed Sunset Angora and Cotton Pink. Sunset Angora looks like a soft peachy coral and Cotton Pink is a ...well, cotton candy kind of pink. Very soft and girly.
I haven't worn either of them yet, just swatched. I think I'll be testing one of them out today, though.
So far, they seem like they have nice coloring without being a thick, super opaque layer. I like that for the summer. I enjoy having a lip product that will add color but not weight or look too heavy.
Have any of you spotted these in your drugstores and have you bought any yet? If so, which colors were you able to get your hands on?
--Please don't mind my flip-flopping of the products. In the first two pictures I have Sunset Angora and then Cotton pink but when I show the lipsticks inside and the swatches I flipped them without noticing and Cotton Pink is first and then Sunset Angora is on the right.

I haven't heard anything about these new lipsticks yet, but Sunset Angora looks like a great coral color. I would definitely pick that one up. These both look like great Spring/Summer colors.

The packaging is really cute! I thought this was from Yves Saint Laurent not Loreal! The colors are really nice as well.

Lamanie L: I'm in the same boat. I actually pulled out my lip product drawer last night and thinned it out a bit. I tossed colors that were gone bad or I knew I'd never ever use again/had found a better dupe for it.

I quite like how sunset angora looks, the packaging looks a bit high end from afar but not so much when you look closer lol I hardly ever go check out the new stuff. Im lazy so I'd rather order online lol

The texture looks a lot like the Revlon lip butters. I really like the packaging on this one though. The gold makes it look more expensive.
