Everyone has there own ways of removing makeup , there really isn't a right or wrong. This is just how i remove my makeup. I remove my eye makeup with Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. I love this eye makeup remover ! i've tried many many eye makeup removers and none of them add up to this one. This eye makeup remover removes my makeup with just a few rubs on my eye with a cotton ball even waterproof eyeliner & mascara ! works great on me and the fact that i have sensitive skin , this never irritates me so that's good. For my face makeup (liquid foundation, concealer, & powder) , i either use Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes or the Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser. The foaming cleanser is a makeup remover & face cleanser in one but like always i will always have a separate face wash even though the fresh foaming cleanser is a makeup remover & face cleanser in one. Both the makeup remover cleansing towelettes & fresh foaming cleanser work great but i prefer using the towelettes more because it gives me that cooling sensation while i remove my makeup ... it just feels more refreshing and cooling. After removing all my makeup , i like to use the Neutrogena
Deep Clean Relaxing Nightly Cleanser. This cleanser makes my skin so soft and unwind because of the relaxing aroma . I usually remove my makeup right before i shower , and cleanse my face in the shower so that way when i am out the shower i am all fresh and clean . I don't cleanse my face until i am done washing my hair because the conditioner can be left behind causing me to break out. The fact that i have dry skin , i need to be very careful with toners. I like to use Estee Lauder Soft clean silky hydrating lotion. That is there version of toner. They call it the lotion But it is a toner. I like to use a toner because sometimes i will still have makeup residue left behind and by using a toner , it helps remove any residue that is left behind. This toner helps preserve my moisture barrier , and keeping my skin soft. When i am done toning my face i use the Estee Lauder Hydrationist
Maximum Moisture Creme . I use this for both day & night. I am not really the type to buy a day cream , and buy a night cream i feel like it's unnecessary. When i wakeup the next day , i will wash my face with Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Daily Cleanser. I love this cleanser because of the invigorating sensation it gives me face, it's like a wake up call ... pumping energy into me :) . After that i would apply my sunscreen. Using sunscreen is very important ! Sunscreen is not only to protect you from the sun but also from UV rays. Sunscreen should be used all the time even when you're just staying home and not planning on going out because your home lights got UV rays too. I like to use banana boat sunscreen and i normally use spf 100. High spf does not mean it gives you 100 % sun protection but it helps , better than nothing . Look for sun screens that labels UVA/UVB rays. I use to have this sunscreen called banana boat dri-blok , the sunscreen goes on like lotion and dries so well like you didn't apply anything onto your face because of the powder dry technology . However i couldn't find it anymore . So After i apply my sunscreen i will go ahead and do my makeup. And at night i repeat the process of removing my makeup, cleansing , toning, and moisturizing. Besides doing all that, drinking lots of water is very important too.. Not only because it flushes out the bad stuff outta your system but it also keeps you hydrated. Don't forget your vitamins too!. eat your fruits and vegetables. Oh and i normally use an eye cream but i still haven't found one that moisturizes my under eyes enough and plus i don't see improvements with my dark circles with any eye cream that i've tried. If you guys got any recommendations please let me know :). I also like to use the Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Foaming Scrub as a exfoliate but only exfoliate once a week , you don't want to dry out your skin.
