Hi everyone! A couple weeks ago I wore China Glaze's "Ruby Pumps" which is a pretty pinkish red with red glitter in it for a friend's wedding. My dress was red and coincidentally one of her wedding colors was red!

I really like China Glaze nail polishes and this one is no exception. The formula was nice and smooth and easy to apply.

The first one was sort of opaque, but definitely not true to bottle color. There also wasn't a lot of glitter in the first coat, so this called for a second coat.

With a second coat, the color was definitely more opaque and it was packed with more glitter. After the second coat it looked more like Dorothy's ruby red slippers from The Wizard of Oz.

The only peeve I might have with this shade is that the glitter is thicker/chunkier than the nail polish base it's floating in so if you don't use a top coat there might be a bit of grittiness when you rub the tops of your nails.
