So earlier in May, my roommate's (who is Korean) mom came to visit and she gave both my sister and I each this B.B cream from Missha.
Now I've only been introduced to the idea and usage of B.B cream since last year March-ish? Before that I had been using Bare Escentuals, but realized that it just wasn't helping me anymore so my roommate introduced me to B.B cream. For all those who don't know what B.B cream is, its basically a light foundation that helps you even skin tone, lighten your skin and improve your skin over time with use. When I say light foundation, I mean like light to near medium coverage and nothing much more so for all those who think that B.B cream is a full coverage foundation, unfortunately it is not!
Originally I had been using Missha M Perfect Cover B.B Cream in No. 23, which I absolutely love and live by every single day but its a lot more expensive to purchase Missha B.B cream in Canada and on top of that I also have to worried about counterfeits as well, so I always ask my roommate to help me out with purchasing B.B cream from Korea!
So now on to what this post is suppose to be about haha, which is Missha M Vita B.B Cream Moisture with SPF 20. So from the product's box, it claims that "MISSHA M VITA B.B Cream contains 7 essential vitamin complexes derived from natural ingredients, and helps to improve the skin. Multi-function and convenient to use to moisturize, protect, correct skin tone and block harmful UV." So that whole blurb pretty much does say it all, which use, I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin, just slight things like less redness on my skin. Obviously I'm not saying this is the best thing, but it definitely does what it's suppose to! So my sister and I both tried it, she hates it and I love it, the reason being though, she has acne and acne scarring, so without a concealer, this particular B.B cream didn't provide much coverage for her, but she is planning to purchase a Benefit concealer and we will see if the concealer plus this B.B cream will help! Compared to the Missha M Perfect Cover B.B Cream, this one has a more lightweight feeling to it, maybe because it doesn't provide much coverage, its meant to really be a tinted moisturizer instead! Overall I love it and definitely will continue to use it but I do find that it has some cons to it, in particular two: 1) it only has an SPF 20 as opposed to Missha M Perfect Cover B.B Cream which has SPF 42 and 2) there is only one shade to choose from.
What do you think about B.B creams? Have you tried any before from Missha?
