Over the weekend I decided to redo my nails with Julep Sarah. It was my add-on from my May Julep Maven box but I had some issues getting it delivered to me. It finally arrived on Saturday. I'm glad it finally arrived because it is just as lovely as I had expected it to be and I HAD to get it onto my fingers!
This is going to be a polish, I think, a lot of people are going to say they don't enjoy because it is sheer and you can see the tips of my nails with two coats. You could build it up more but I didn't want to risk getting it too thick and have it end up peeling off. I actually don't mind it being sheer, either. Something about jelly finish polishes in summer is okay in my book.
Sarah is a sheer jelly finished pinky-coral polish with glitters swirling through it. The glitters definitely show up on the nail too. It is a very spirited nail polish. If you don't mind it being on the sheer side then I highly recommend trying this one out. It just screams warm weather and being by the poolside.
I didn't have any problems with the consistency. It wasn't gloopy, as some glitter polishes can be. It smoothed on with ease and is almost one of those polishes you don't have to be too careful with. It is hard to make this one look sloppy and messy. Something I did want to mention, though, is that even with a thick top coat like Seche Vite you can slightly feel unevenness to the top. It isn't enough to be scratchy or snag on anything but it isn't entirely smooth. If you are okay with 2 coats of top coat that would fix that. I don't mind it because it isn't nearly as bad as some glittery polishes and since it isn't catching on anything, I'm not irritated by it.

It's still a great color even though it's a bit sheer. It's a really fun color.
This is such a pretty pink jelly nail polish, great for layering!
I love the shade! I would prefer if it wasn't a jelly formula.
I like this one! it's really nice and I like those shimmers!
this colour is so pretty, love the glitter in it
It's such a pretty shade. I wouldn't mind wearing this polish, but I would also use it on top on a base color. =D
I think I'll be alright with the sheerness, after seeing the OPI ballet collection I've kind of changed me mind about them. I just need to try them to see whether I like them on the nails as much as I like them in pictures. I quite like the look of sarah :P
love the color!
Oh my goodness, that is a gogeous polish. I would love to own this. I am definitely going to be looking for a drugstore dupe to this. Its just so pretty! LOL
