This is one of the things that came in my Julep package from their penny promotion. It's an age defying hand brightener, or so it says lol It basically claims to visibly minimize the appearance of fine lines and age spots on your hands while adding radiant glow, and evening skin tone.
It's a pretty big bottle with a ton of product.
This product looks just like a regular lotion or cream. It's thick, but not heavy, and it blends well.
Another thing I like about this is that it doesn't leave a greasy feeling
afterwards, instead leaving hands feeling nice and soft. It's also water-resistant.
Additionally, it moisturizes my dry hands fairly well.
As far as the whole "brightening" aspect, I can definitely tell when I apply it how it illuminates my skin, which in turn makes it look more healthy and youthful. It has very, very tiny shimmer that's almost unnoticeable that is responsible for attracting light. In a sense, it works kind of like how highlight would work on your face, except it's all over your hands.
Have you tried anything similar, and what do you think of it?

Seems like a good product!!
This seems like an interesting product. I've tried hand-scrubs before, but never one with a "brightening" effect. It does look slightly shimmery in your photos! :)
I love hand creams so this is something I would try!
This sounds like a nice product. I dont think it was available when I placed my order otherwise I would have gotten this one instead of the hair topcoat which is pretty good though.
thanks for the review
I've never tried their products before. I just use a Vaseline hand lotion. It sounds like a nice product :)
so you can see results right away? doesn't take time?
Nice review!
sandy tings: You're welcome.
sabz _: Okay, you don't really miss out on much lol
Nichole Y: Yeah, I haven't done much with my hands, nor have I thought to before I got this brightener thing lol
Susan Castillo: I got the scrub too, but I think the Pomegranate sounds awesome as well.
Pho Dang: You're welcome.
Everyday Beauty: Personally, I think it's a bit expensive, but if you can take advantage of their penny promotion, I think it's worth it!
Mylinh Nguyen: It's nothing special, but it's worth a try, at least.
Allison Ong: lol
Diana Khoubaeva: Me either. I didn't even know there were scrubs for your hands, which I also got in the package :)
not tried this, thanks for the review!
not tried this
I don't really use special products for my hands, I just use regular lotion. I recently got a hand cream, but that was just to hit the $50 limit on my Sephora purchase haha (;
grrrr I wanted to try this out but nope, I got some dumb pomegranate scrub thing, I need this to go with my julep hand scrub which btw - is awesome !
