Powder products, in general, get a pass. For the most part, I keep products past their expiration dates, but products I do regularly toss out closer to those dates would be mascara and skincare.

i dont really care about it ... well acutally i do am germophobic but to be honest when it comes to make up am like .. when i see a product is smelling differently or when i start breaking out frequently and etc...when i see its beside the date i throw it away so i dont really have a certain schedule or anything like that!
I throw mine out BEFORE the expiration date because I get so paranoid xD
good topic. i don't think i conciously think about it as much as i should. i'm pretty slack and often i use products on and off which by the end I've forgotten when i opened it
If I like a product I use it more than the expiration..If I hate it I toss with the excuse of the expiration
