Food » Pampilho - Portuguese Traditional Cake

Today I got a cake that i haven't had in a long time. Its called Pampillho(there really isn't a translation for the name in english) and its a traditional cake from Santarem, Portugal.
Its made with sweet egg cream and cinnamon. You can taste the egg flavor but the cinnamon is very strong also.
I don't have this a lot because its not that common around here but you can always find it if you look for a while and i got this from a store close to me.

If you ever get to go to Santarem, Portugal or even in a portuguese bakery, look these up because they really are worth the try.

Have you ever had Pampillho before?
Do you have any traditional dessert/ake you like?
