On Saturday we went and picked up some KFC. I had seen someone else post the KFC Famous Bowl and it made me immediately crave one. I haven't had one for such a long time that it sounded really good.
I ended up ordering the Famous Bowl (pictured), my husband got a chicken pot pie (not pictured), and my son got their kids chicken bites with potato wedges (not pictured).
YUMMM! It was just as good as the last time I had it. I know they look like a sloppy mess, but trust me, they're good. It has their mashed potatoes scooped into the bottom of the bowl and then topped with corn, chicken pieces, gravy, and cheese. It is very filling too. I probably could have eaten only half and been fine... but I was hungry and being a piggy at the moment and I ended up eating the whole thing (not smart because I felt over stuffed after and that is not a good feeling... REFRAIN FROM BEING A PIGGY!)
Me and my husband are at odds when it comes to fried chicken. If we get it out, my husband's favorite place is Popeye's ....mine is KFC. I prefer the taste of KFC's chicken over Popeye's but will admit that Popeye's has really good red beans & rice. But the rest of their sides aren't anything special (to me).

I love getting the bowl at KFC too! It basically has everything that I like to eat in a simple bowl. Though, I usually prefer Popeye's fried chicken over KFC.
This looks real good. I never tried the Famous bowl before but it sounds like something I must give a try =D

You know, I've learned that 90% of things that don't look that good are actually better than a steak dinner. This has got to be one of them! Nice marriage of flavors indeed.
Thats the only thing I like about KFC the bowls, they are so convienient when your on the go
i havent tried this before...
KFC will forever be my favorite chicken place lol
