Yesterday morning, I went and headed over to our favorite donut shops here where I live. This one is called Winchell's Donut House. Before heading out, I put on a pot of coffee because we all know coffee and donuts go perfectly well together! My boyfriend wanted some glazed and some of the maple & chocolate bars. They didn't have glazed so I got equal amount of maple & chocolate bars. I wanted to try this Puffies that caught my attention when I got there so I got the one strawberry filling. For half a dozen of donuts was $4.99 and for the puffs were 6 for $1.69 which comes in two different fillings but I'm not much of a custard fan so that's why I went with the strawberry.
I only had one of the maple bars and 2 of the puffies. The rest were eaten by my kids & boyfriend. My daughter ate 2 of the bars. She is crazy! I don't know where all her food goes! She eats a lot and she is still skinny. I wish I was like that! LOL With my son, he literally eats the chocolate off first then the dough part. Oh he cracks me up!
Overall, we were all satisfied with everything we got!

I had a donut for breakfast a few days ago! I usually just get the plain donut with a hole in it with chocolate icing on top.

oh man, DONUTS (doing the homer simpson drool sound), I freaking love donuts but haven't had some in months, dang it Holly Ann, now I'm feeling a dang craving coming on lol I'm a simple kind of girl, I like the chocolate bars/twists, maybe a custard filled one once in a while, dang it LOL
