Hey everyone! I wanted to share this awesome recipe with you guys. I've been making this for about two weeks now and I adore it soo much. It is the perfect hot drink for the Christmas/Holiday season!

Here's what you'll need to make the Perfect Peppermint Cocoa:

2 cup measure
1 small strainer
2 packages of Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix
1 3/4 cups of hot water
2 tbsp CoffeeMate peppermint mocha creamer
A festive mug!
and a can of peppermint whipped cream (regular will do just fine!)

First I combine the 2 packages of swiss miss hot chocolate mix and the 1 3/4 cups hot water. I stir them together with a spoon for about a minute, just to get most of the clumps of mix dissolved (don't worry if they're not all gone ;)

Next I add the 2 tablespoons of peppermint coffee creamer to the hot chocolate. I eyeball this, but I just wanted to give a measurement around what I usually put into the hot chocolate. It helps to smell the hot chocolate to see if you've got enough creamer. If you can smell peppermint, you're good to go !

Then I put the small strainer over my mug and pour the hot chocolate through the strainer. This will get rid of any hot chocolate clumps that might have not dissolved beforehand. You can skip this step if you don't mind the clumps, but I personally think they ruin the drink.

After pouring the hot chocolate in the mug, I top with my favorite peppermint whipped cream (I got it from Target).

Voila! A perfect Holiday drink that takes less than 2 minutes to make! (:
