One of my favorite dishes to eat is gyro! This is a fairly new dish to me because I really didn't start eating it until the past year or so.
If you don't know what gyro is, it's a dish that's more common and popular as a middle eastern or european dish. Gyro is shaved lamb or goat that is roasted on a rotating spit. When you receive it, the meat is usually sliced vertically into thin, crips slices.
Gyro is usually served and eaten with a flatbread such as pita bread and sides usually include some sort of salad, onions, tomatoes, olives, and fries. I really like the sauce that is eaten with this, which is tzatziki sauce. To me, it tastes like greek yogurt with cucumbers and onions!
Gyro is veryyy good and I highly recommend you trying it! :D

that looks and sounds really delicious. i dont know of any local place to get gyros, not that i've really been looking. for some reason i though that gyros were greek burritos o.O
i love gyors! i just eat it like this though with french fries and no pita bread
thats delicious. usually when I eat gyros, the pita wraps up the gyro's sort of like a taco. Ive never seen them like this, just layered on top of eachother.
