This is my absolute favorite drink at any bubble tea shop. It is called green tea slush with red beans.

I try not to drink bubble tea with tapioca anymore because I read in the newspaper that there's some dangerous chemical in the tapioca that gets shipped to Canada from Taiwan. Occasionally I will get tapioca but I try to limit my intake.

Red bean is a great substitute! It's sweet and chewy and adds a nice flavor to the green tea. I prefer green tea slush because it's cold and refreshing. The green tea is not sweet at all so the red beans sweeten it up a bit.

-b. .: i don't usually enjoy the drinks at night market because they always make it in such a rush and usually it's a REALLY hot day so the ingredients have been sitting out for a long time

That looks good. I would probably prefer it without red beans since I don't really like red bean.

i've had this once before at night market and i found the red beans way too sweet for my liking. Even when i ordered the slush without any sugar, the red beans were still overpowering
