Last week, a girlfriend called me up to go for desserts at Cafe Demetres. I was hesitant to go at first cause I was already comfy at home, but I haven't been to Demetres in a while so I said alright! If you guys haven't heard of or been to Cafe Demetres, it's a desserts & coffee place. They serve desserts in enormous portions, so you'd probably have to share with someone unless you have a super sweet tooth! My friend ordered "The Tongue Depresser" which is a crepe with chocolate ice- cream, with chocolate syrup and sugar drizzled on top, topped with whip cream and brownie bites. I on the other hand didn't want an actual dessert so I ordered a fruit smoothie instead, I don't remember the name of the drink, but it had French Vanilla yogurt and strawberries. My smoothie was delicious, not too sweet and I had some of my friend's dessert which was really good too but she didn't even finish the crepe!
