Summer is less than a week away! But that does not necessarily mean it will automatically be nice, hot weather (well not where I live anyway). But, when it does…I will be totally prepared because I have finally found a café that has gelato!
This place met all of my requirements…
-not too far from home
-delicious gelato and coffee
-reasonable prices
I have a crazy sweet tooth. Especially for frozen or cold desserts….meaning my freezer is always stocked with ice cream and popsicles (ice cream sandwiches if the Mr. goes shopping with me). You can imagine my excitement when I found this place called Deo Valente Café. I have already been there a few times. The picture above is the coffee flavored one (surprise, surprise). I should have remembered to take a picture when I had the pistachio flavor… mmMmMm. That one is my favorite! The flavor selection varies everytime I go. But I have also sampled the coconut, peach champagne, peanut butter and jelly, lemon and strawberry/banana. All very tastey!
The atmosphere of the café is relaxed and laid back much like a coffee shop. They also offer Panini sandwiches and other pastries. I’m sure I will be visiting a lot once the weather heats up. What is your favorite gelato flavor?

there used to be a gelato place that was close to where i live but it closed down. D:< & i never got to try any. ~

ohh the gelato display doesnt have nice fruit or coffe bean chocolate decorations :( that's a minus :P my favourite gelato flavor is stacciatella

Maybe dolce de leche, or after heigh... Normally i do my own ice cream :b
