When most people picture the forbidden fruit, they see an apple in their minds, or even a pomegranate as some scholars question.

However in ancient Hawaii, they might disagree.

Way back when, it was forbidden for girls or women to eat fruits like the banana, because it was sacred to one of their male gods and represented male sexuality. Fruits like the coconut were also considered forbidden and not to be handled or eaten by females.

You see, that would really suck for a vegan girl like me, since I love bananas, and I really like the "So Delicious" brand coconut milk :D
