my mom purchased a bag of frozen wontons and she whipped them up for dinner tonight. all she had to do was put them in boiling water. the wontons came with a soup base but we decided to have them "dry" so we didn't have them in soup, just on their own. the soup base looked a little suspicious or else we might have used it as well because it might have made them a little more savory, though these definitely weren't bad! my mom purchased the bag from 99 ranch (i feel like i've posting about 99 ranch a lot lately!) and one of them lasts us two meals. the ones i had were pork and they weren't as good as my mom's homemade wontons, but they're much simpler to make for dinner when there isn't too much time.
