After finishing a post i started thinking... how many people can taste the difference between regular soft drink and their diet counterparts? I know i can, but my family thinks that i'm delusional because they can't taste the difference -___- in other words my parents think i'm strange for thinking there's a difference in taste and my grandparents think i'm making it up... BUT my taste buds were put to a test at a couple of restaurants that screwed up on my drink order... I asked for a coke and when i took a sip from my cup, there was that after taste and i knew for sure that it was diet... I asked the waitress for a coke and both times they told me they accidentally wrote down diet coke lol... anyhow... can you taste the difference???

I can taste the difference it is that after taste.
i can for sure.. diet coke makes me burp a lot more.. im convinced it has more fizz and less sugar.

I can taste the different and I don't like diet soda's. Diet soda is bad for you, well worse than regular soda so I wont drink it and will know if someone gives me diet instead of regular. I also hate when people order large meals from like mcdonalds and whatever and get a diet soda...what's the point?

I can tell the difference! I sometimes can just tell by looking at it. Diet coke has less bubbles and is a little darker. Lol.

For sure I can if I drink a regular pop I feel like I have dumped a jar of sugar in my mouth. If I go to a bar and I order a mixed drink I tell them Diet coke/pepsi and they look at me like I am crazy. There have been a couple of bartenders that have tried to slip the regular pop in my drink and I know it right away both of them were amazed that I could tell the difference.
